Welcome to The Old Stables! Converted in July 2005 from a two-storey stable block, this large, one-bedroom cottage is tastefully decorated with coordinated furnishings, and offers spacious and luxurious holiday accommodation for two in the beautiful North Devon countryside, just east of Barnstaple and three miles from Exmoor National Park. Its central location provides an excellent base for exploring the area. Whether you are looking for miles of golden, sandy beaches to lie on, roaring surf to ride, stunning coastal cliff-top walks, the spectacular, rugged nature and wildlife of the moors, cycling, horse-riding, golf, sailing - you will find everything within easy reach. The Old Stables sits detached from the main house and has its own private secluded garden and off-road parking. It has full central heating and all heating and power costs are included in the rental.

Large double bedroom with king-size bed.

Bathrooms:
Bathroom with bath and in-bath power shower, WC and bidet.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped, with fitted oak units, microwave, washer-dryer, electric hob/oven, fridge with freezer compartment and all usual equipment.

Living Rooms:
A large, comfortable and sunny sitting room with dining area, equipped with TV/DVD player with Freeview channels and CD/radio. A door leads to the sunny, private patio.

Other:
Also downstairs is a separate WC/cloakroom located by the entrance door.

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
All bed linen and towels are included - but please bring your own beach towels. There is also a selection of different weight duvets for you to choose from!

Fridge, Hob/Stove, Iron, Microwave, Oven, Tumble Dryer, Washing Machine.

Notes on prices
We are open from late March to the end of October 2014.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Friday. The accommodation is available from 3pm and should be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure.

Booking notes
A deposit of 100 is required for each full week booked, with the balance payable 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. Payment is by cheque or online banking please - unfortunately we do not take credit cards. Heating, power, linen and towels are included in price - but please bring your own beach towels.

Coast/Beach
The cottage is situated between approximately 10 to 15 miles from a top-class selection of North Devon's golden beaches, dunes and coastal towns - Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde, Putsborough and Saunton, Braunton Burrows - you will have difficulty finding a better coastline.

Golf
The Old Stables is situated about 15 miles from the world-renowned Saunton Golf Club, comprising two excellent links courses used for some leading amateur and club professional events. The East and West Courses are ranked by Golf World within the top 100 UK courses.
