The house is a thirties style contemporary building, originally architect designed in the early sixties. All the rooms are large and light giving a feeling of luxury and space. The pool is always heated and this area which includes the conservatory, has a running and rowing machines, its own shower and cloakroom and a breakfast area, all in all your own private spa. The terrace outside overlooks The Warren, an unspoilt nature reserve, where you can look down on the hawks and other fascinating birds of the area, as well as foxes, rabbits and badgers. Beyond is Wear Bay a calm piece of water sheltered by Folkestone harbour and further out to sea in the Channel, you can watch the maritime traffic of one of the most important pieces of water in the world (telescope provided).

Notes on accommodation
Eagles Nest is in a true cliff top position with uninterrupted views to France. Pets may be welcome after discussion with the owners. The property is fenced but dogs must be under owners control at all time because of the proximity to the cliff edge. For this reason we do not consider this property is suitable for children under the age of 8 years.
Accessibility
The property is not considered suitable for persons with mobility problems.
Outside
There are gardens to the front and side of the property and large terraced areas to the rear (seaward) side - ideal for barbecues, sunbathing etc. There are uninterupted 180 degree views of France, Folkestone Harbour and The Warren country park. The house sits 450ft above sea level.
Coast/Beach
Wear Bay can be reached on foot by an invigorating cliff path, or a 5 mins drive. Several other beaches are within a half hour's drive. e.g. Deal, St Margarets, Dover, Folkestone, Sandgate, Hythe and Camber, not forgetting Littlestone Greatstone and Dungeness!
Golf
Many well known golf courses in the area.
Travel
Eagles Nest is less than an hour down the M20 from the M25.
Distances
There is a small convenience store in Capel-le-Ferne with all the usual main shops in Folkestone - 10 mins in the car.
