Notes on prices
Prices are per property per week in UK Pounds. Prices include all linen, towels, electricity and St Mellion memberships. A heating supplement of £15 per week is charged in season. Return guests receive a 5% discount on the letting price.

Changeover day
Changeover days are Fridays. Out of season it may be possible to be flexible.

Skyber Cottage (Sleeps 4, 2 Bedrooms)

Skyber is a spacious cottage for all the family. Its split level layout gives easy access to all the rooms. Bedroom 1 has either a double or twin bed choice and double en-suite shower room. There is also a TV. Bedroom 2 has either a double or twin bed choice, with a separate shower room right outside. Again this bedroom has its own TV. Skyber's modern kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer/drier and microwave. The dining room can seat up to 6 people. Two steps lead down into the lounge where there is a 28' flat screen TV, DVD, video, CD, tape and stereo system. There is central heating in every room. Outside there is seating for 4 people and a private courtyard and BBQ. There is a garden and large lawn immediately in front of the cottage.

Tikkidew Cottage (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom)

Tikkidew is a newly converted cottage, designed for couples, with an attractive open plan layout. The large lounge, with its high vaulted and beamed ceiling, has a log burner, a bed/settee, flat screen TV, DVD, CD and stereo system. There is also a dining area to one side. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge freezer, oven / hob, dishwasher, clothes washer/drier. microwave and another dining area. The bathroom is cosy with a power shower and bath. The spacious upstairs bedroom is also open plan with a gallery overlooking the lounge. Tikkidew is double glazed throughout and is centrally heated. Outside there is seating for 4 people and a private courtyard and BBQ. There is a garden and large lawn immediately in front of the cottage.

Kellywyk Cottage (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom)

Kellywk, originally the old cider pressing room, is a cosy retreat for 2 people. The cottage has a double or twin bedroom choice with an en-suite shower room. There is also a TV in the bedroom. The lounge/diner has a TV, DVD, video, CD and stereo system. The modern kitchen has an oven / hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer/drier and microwave. There is seating outside for 2 people and a private courtyard and BBQ. There is a garden and large lawn immediately in front of the cottage.

Notes on accommodation
All 3 cottages at Rowse are private, peaceful and away from traffic. Rowse is no longer a working farm, so the only noises will be distant sheep, the odd tractor and the occasional passing horse. Skyber and Tikkidew have full central heating, while Kellywyk has its own electric wall heaters in every room. All cottages have off road parking spaces.
All three cottages are non-smoking. We regret we cannot accept pets.

Accessibility
Although the age and construction of all the cottages at Rowse does not make wheelchair access possible, Kellywyk has no steps or stairs at all. Skyber does have 3 steps up to its front entrance and 2 inside between the dining room and lounge. Tikkidew has a curved stairwell up to the bedroom. Outside
All Rowse Farm cottages have private outdoor eating areas and BBQ's. The large garden and lawn is shared but rarely used as most guests usually prefer to explore on their holidays. The free memberships to nearby St Mellion (1 mile away) mean that all guests can use the fantastic swimming pools, spa and gym at any time without charge. And guests in Skyber and Tikkdew also have FREE Golf!

Coast/Beach
Rowse Farm Cottages are a 30 minute drive from the spectacular coastline of SE Cornwall. Explore the excellent beaches and walks at Whitsand Bay, Cawsand and Looe. Or just walk in the beautiful Mount Edgecombe park overlooking Plymouth Sound. If you are energetic, there are spectacular coast paths around Looe, Polperro, Talland and Polruan/Fowey. Or you can cross the 'bridge to England' and enjoy walks and beaches of South Devon. If you want to get to north Cornwall, it is only an hour away.

Golf
Skyber cottage includes 4 free full memberships to nearby St Mellion, and Tikkidew has 2 memberships. This means that golf is FREE on either the famous Nicklaus course or the Old Course to all guests at Skyber or Tikkidew. Guests in Kellywyk have free leisure access at St Mellion. Travel
The best way of exploring Cornwall is by car. But the nearest airports are Plymouth (20 mins), Exeter (1 hour), Newquay (1 hour). You can arrange car hire at any of these airports. The nearest main line train station is Plymouth (20 mins) or Saltash (10 mins).

Distances
Pillaton village, with its 12th century pub and church, is half a mile away. Plymouth, with all its shops, restaurants, cinemas, the National Marine Aquarium, boat trips etc. can be reached in 20 mins. The famous Moors of Dartmoor or Bodmin are a 25 min drive.

Further details
If you would like to eat and drink local West Country produce you can arrange to select it online and have your choices delivered to your cottage. There is a big and very good supermarket 4 miles from Rowse where all provisions are available. Good pub food can be had at Pillaton (5 mins) or St Dominick (10 min) and there are some great restaurants in Plymouth, Looe, Callington and Whitsand Bay. The nearset towns of Saltash, Callington, Plymouth or Tavistock have all the facilities you will need. Our website also lists a selection of 'Things to Do' while staying at Rowse.

Booking notes
All bookings are done online if possible. A deposit of 25% is due on booking with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to your holiday start date. Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the holiday start date will incur the full letting charge if the unit cannot be re-let. All terms and conditions are the Holiday Booking Confirmation form.
