About the Owner
My husband, James, and I have lived at Ladyhole for many years, and before that on a coffee farm in Kenya. James has his own accountancy practice in our local town Ashbourne, and I look after our guests here. I am very keen on riding and aspire to be an artist. We both love living in Derbyshire and enjoy the country life. I try to ensure that all our guests are well looked after, and that they can enjoy all aspects of the garden and surroundings.
Year property purchased: 1980's
Why this location?
My husband came to work here. We love the countryside around here, all the hills and the villages. I also enjoyed eventing for many years, and was able to keep horses.

The Peak District is on our doorstep with all that it has to offer. We are also very near to Carsington Reservoir for water sports and walking and cycling.
