Penny Royal holiday cottage. The former Symonds Yat East station masters house. Located in the picturesque Symonds Yat East on the banks of the River Wye in Symonds Yat East the Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean. The cottage has excellent facilities for up to 8 people to enjoy a break whether it is for 2 days, a long weekend or multiples of weeks! We cater for all levels of requirements and welcome families, hen parties, stag parties (all well behaved!!) and groups of friends etc. The local area offers fantastic walking, outdoor activities, golf and many places of interest. The property has its own driveway with private parking for up to 5 cars. The mature gardens edge onto the forest and contain mature trees and shrubs. The neighbours are usually the deer and other wildlife that visit the garden morning and night. The garden has furniture and a bbq for those summer evenings. Fantastic pub and restaurants all within 5 minutes walking distance of the cottage.

Changeover day
Check in after 3pm and check out by 10am.
Weekly rental is Friday to Friday. 2 night rental Friday - Sunday. 3 night rental Friday - Monday. 4 night rental Monday - Friday. Call if you have specific requirements as we are very flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Suitable for children but we are on the edge of the forest and near to the river so they do need to be supervised. We do have fire guards and stair gates available.

Mature garden and patio area, barbeque, bench and chairs.
Garden Overlooks the River Wye.
Golf
Golf is available at a large number of local venues all within 20 minutes drive.
Skiing
Gloucester Dry Ski Slope is only 30 minutes away and is fantastic for learning and practicing for the more experienced.

Outdoor adventure activities offering climbing, canoeing, abseiling, kayaking, caving, archery and ropes course.

Booking notes
The cottage is available for 2, 3, 4 and 7 night rental periods!
Please call to discuss the prices available. Bookings must be made over the telephone. A 50% deposit is then payable by cheque within 5 working days. We request the final payment 6 weeks prior to arrival or at a time agreed over the phone if a last minute/short notice booking. The Cottage is non Smoking and we charge a refundable £150 Cautionary deposit.
