A short, level walk to the centre will take you past a local pub, the sports centre, a Greek restaurant, a Spanish and fish restaurant and then you are in the heart of Bath, shopping and night life at your feet! 10 Lime Grove backs on to the first stretch of the Avon and Kennet canal. By walking to the left, one can reach the outskirts of Bath, towns and villages beyond and stop off at some of the pubs and other watering holes on the way. By following the path to the right, one can reach the point where the canal joins the River Avon and the miles of interesting walking beyond. 10 Lime Grove is a large semi-detached late Victorian house which has been divided into 4 studios (3 sleep 2 people and 1 sleeps up to 4), set in a quiet part of the city, you can reach the centre and the countryside within minutes depending which direction you choose to travel in. Fully equipped for self catering holidays from a weekend to over a month, 10 Lime Grove provides a home away from home.

Notes on prices
2 nights £160, 3 nights £210, 4 nights £260, 5 nights £300, 6 nights £325, 7 nights £350. Bookings for one night only are accepted but for the higher rate of £100 and only Monday - Thursday. Weekends must be at least a 2 night booking. Discounts available for longer lets, please contact for details. Studio 4 pricing for persons 3 and 4 is an additional 15% per person of the overall cost of the stay. Multiple bookings (more than one studio) get a 10% discount of the overall stay.

Changeover day
Changeover on Mondays and Fridays although we are flexible especially for longer stays.

En-suite bathroom with, shower, towels, hair dryer and starter pack of basic toiletries (hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper). The kitchen area is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery, toaster, kettle, small cooker with oven and microwave, fridge and welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and extras. We always provide a new kitchen sponge and cloth with a fresh tea towel.
There is a breakfast table and armchairs to complete the comfort.

Another beautiful studio with a pleasant outlook. Perfect for two as a romantic weekend or for longer stays to discover the area.
Kitchen area: The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave and mini cooker, toaster and kettle, cutlery and crockery for two, tea towels and a starter pack of cleaning materials. Included is our welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and some breakfast items.
Bedroom: A double bed with luxury linen, bedside cabinets with bedside lights. Freesat TV, DVD and CD player with ipod dock, radio alarm clock, hairdryer. Bathroom: It is an en-suite shower room with toilet and hand basin and mirror. Basic toiletry pack included.

The best studio with the biggest en-suite and most floor space. Great, far reaching views, especially the Abbey. As with all the other studios, the kitchen is fully equipped with little cooker and combination microwave, cutlery and crockery for four. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and extras and a new set of cleaning materials for every new guest. There is a dining table and chairs for 4. The en-suite is newly fitted and stylish, with a spacious shower enclosure, shaver point, towels and basic toiletries are included. As well as a double bed there are two armchairs which fold out into single beds. So this studio can be hired as a twin or can accommodate a small family of 4. As with all our studios, this one is equipped with TV, DVD, radio, CD player with ipod dock, hairdryer. Stylish and modern, this a great place to spend a weekend or a week in!

 

Notes on accommodation
Laundry facilities. There is a utility room, with washing machine, steam iron and ironing board. A vacuum cleaner and basic cleaning materials will facilitate those choosing to stay for longer periods.

Accessibility
Studio 3 and 2 are on the second floor, studio 1 on the first floor. We regret that the studios are unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Outside
Our peaceful garden backs onto the Kennet and Avon canal. Ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine after a visit to the Bath Spa or after a long day sight seeing our many attractions.

Coast/Beach
The property backs on the Kennet and Avon Canal which leads on to miles of beautiful walks and fishing.

Dry ski slope in Churchill, between Bath and Weston-Super-Mare.

Travel
The property is situated close to the A36 through Bath; it is so close to the city centre and cycle and public transport networks that a car is not essential.

Bath Spa Train Station and Bath Bus and coach station are both approximately 12 minutes walk away.

Distances
All the main attractions in Bath - the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent, the Jane Austen Centre among many others - are within walking distance. As for restaurants, every cuisine and every budget are catered for.

About the owner
Dave has lived in Bath all his life and is the longest serving retained fire fighter in the city. He is also a builder which means he can deal with pretty much anything the house can throw at him! Teresa has lived most of her life in Bath too. She abandoned secondary teaching to spend more time with the children (19 and 9yrs). We both love Bath and appreciate it's beauty and variety. Bath is a small place which packs an enormous amount for it's size. Cultural events, museums, cinema, theatre, shopping, two universities and many good schools. We are keen to show visitors the best Bath has to offer and that they come to love their time here as we do.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought 10 Lime Grove over 5years ago because it is so perfectly placed for the centre but in a such a lovely and peaceful neighbourhood. Especially backing on to the canal, where Dave can indulge in a bit of fishing with his little son. We also enjoy the challenge of refurbishment which has been ongoing but now nearing completion.

Unique benefits of the property
The main benefit of staying at 10 Lime Grove is of course the proximity to the centre. You can park your car and forget it there! If you come without a car you could even walk from the train station or take a 5min taxi ride from there to our door step. Everything will be fresh and new since we are new to the market. Accommodation is clean and fully equipped with all utilities included in the price. So it's easy to work out cost. No hidden extras for electricity or parking etc. Also, for the quality of decor and level of facilities, you will not find a more reasonably priced holiday in central Bath! Bath is the home of many millionaires but you should not have to be one to visit!
