Rural farm location from at Northcott (4 miles from Court Farm facilities) from which guests can walk to the local beach of Northcott Mouth in under 20 minutes.
Large fully equipped kitchen leads through to dining room with table to seat all, woodburner; 2 large lounges (1 also with woodburner) with comfy leather sofas, widescreen TVs, Sky & DVD/VCR, games room, sprawling gardens plus raised patio area with picnic tables & gas BBQ.

Sycamore is a light and spacious house with a contemporary feel.
The lounge is has an oak floor, leather sofas, and quality oak furniture throughout.
Patio doors lead to the enclosed and private garden with picnic table and its own luxury 6 person Hot Tub (featuring the latest spa technology with 48 jets!).
The new modern kitchen/dining room has a slate floor which leads to a utility room also with direct access to the garden.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms (one en-suite) and a twin bedroom, continuing the contemporary feel with oak furniture, quality linens and comfy pocket sprung mattresses for a good nights sleep.
The family bathroom has an over bath shower

Wheelwright cottage is an example of four delightly period cottages, set in a row in a quiet of the village, right next door to the facilities at Court Farm. These cottages retain so much character and charm with their beamed ceilings, slate flooring and wood burning stoves in their inglenook fireplaces. All very similar in design, just varying in size slightly. In Wheelwright you walk directly into the lovely lounge, which leads through to the well equipped little kitchen, with backdoor leading directly onto a sunny patio area with picnic bench, in its lovely enclosed garden.
Upstairs the floorboards have been stripped, the bedrooms traditionally furnished and decorated.
The small bathroom has an over-bath shower.

The Mill House is set in the corner of the beautiful courtyard, is full of character and spaciously set over three floors.
Upon entering the small hall way on the ground floor, the kitchen is situated on the left leading through to the lounge. On the first floor, you'll find the spacious master bedroom with 32" flat screen TV and king size iron bedstead which overlooks the swimming pool and also provides fantastic countryside & coastal views, and the bathroom with over bath shower.
A second staircase leads up to two more bedrooms (twin & single) featuring sloping ceilings and magnificent views through the velux windows.
Millhouse is one of six courtyeard cottages available - all of similar character but varying in size from 2-3 bedrooms.

 

Notes on accommodation
All accommodation has central heating together with additional fires as detailed in living spaces. Quality, fully fitted kitchens with microwave, electric cookers and dishwashers. Washing machines. Freshly prepared bed linen included. Towel hire available at £3 per set. Free Wireless Broadband connection in all cottages, 42" Digital LCD Flatscreen TVs in the larger cottages, 32''-28" TVs in smaller properties, all with Freeview & DVD players 32" LCD Flatscreen TVs in most master bedrooms. Accessibility
We have 2 single storey courtyard barns and also a bungalow for which we can provide a ramp for the one step access. Lower Northcott Farmhouse is also suitable for wheelchair users/those less agile as it has bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor where the communal living areas are. Please ring for suitability.

Outside

Coast/Beach
Court Farm is very much part of Marhamchurch village life, set amongst the quaint cottages and houses of whitewashed stone which surround the village’s splendid historic church. It is within a few paces of the Village pub and within ten minutes you can enjoy a range of activities, 5 Blue Flag beaches, fishing (sea, lake or canal), golf, horse-riding, walks along the beautiful coastal paths, explore the countryside on foot or by bicycle, or visit the local town of Bude.

Golf
We are 2 miles from the wonderful links golf course at Bude and within half an hours drive of Bowwood and Trethorne

Thank you for a really enjoyable holiday! The cottage was lovely, beautifully furnished, warm, clean and with everything that we needed. The private hot tub in our garden was such a treat, as was the shared swimming pool, tennis court, games room and other facilities. The children have had a superb week, and it was lovely that everything was so close by for them to be able to enjoy these facilities safely.

We enjoyed days out to some beautiful areas of Cornwall, without having to travel far, and it was always nice to return each day to the peaceful village setting of Court Farm Cottages. Court Farm Holidays is very much a family business. Open all year round, we work as a team in providing top quality holiday accommodation for all ages and varying tastes, either for a week's holiday or shorter breaks. As parents ourselves we now understand the joys and stresses of babies and toddlers which has brought our focus on needs of both the toddler and parents. Located just 2 miles north of Bude, all 18 properties are beautifully decorated and furnished with a fresh spacious feel, ensuring maximum comfort, are fully equipped and have access to a full range of shared facilities 5 miles away including an indoor swimming pool, tennis court, games room and a lush meadow with grazing alpacas, kune kune pigs, chickens.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our Family have farmed Court Farm Marhamchurch for 3 generations. Once a working farm, many a guest have stayed in Court farmhouse for B&B and around 1988 our parents converted the deralict barns into what they are today (they have of course had a few updates since then!) other properties have been aquired (the cottages once housed the workers of Court Farm Barton ) and a few have been built from scratch (Sycamore & Chestnut) .. and we seem to keep on growing ... in 2011 we have added Dolphins Beach Retreat at Widemouth Bay, and 2 Rural Retreats on our working farm at Northcott.

Unique benefits of the property
Guests staying at Court Farm can enjoy a tranquil village location, just 2.5 miles inland from the sand & surf of Bude, Widemouth Bay & Northcott Mouth with another 4 beaches within 4 miles. Everyone has shared use of our heated swimming pool (with retracting roof making it open air on hot days), tennis court, games room with pool table, small fitness room, large grassed play area with play trail, swings, slides & indoor play barn. Being one of the most dog friendly regions in the UK with dogs being allowed on every-other beach from Crackington Haven up to Sandymouth (on leads) with the coastal path so close, farmland and also along the historic bude canal path.
