Owner profile
About the owner
Dawn, Bethany and I moved down to morwenstow in Cornwall in 2005 and have never regretted it for a second. We have very hectic lives but love the balance of being able to pop to Beach in 5 mins and Bethany is now completely hooked on surfing. There are numerous walks from where we live to the beach and with our black lab Bumble we are out and about all the time. It is also very peaceful and noise free down here apart of course from the wildlife and farm animals.
Year purchased: 2005
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We initially bought the farmhouse to live in and completey renovated it adding an ensuite and extra bedroom upstairs and a dinning room and shower room downstairs. We lived in it for 3 years and then moved into the small cottage on the grounds after this was renovated (Bethany found the Farmhouse too big and with just the 3 of us we were rattling around in it apart from when we had family down which was perfect as there is loads of space) . We have had amazing comments about the farmhouse in the guest book from people saying that it feels just like a home, is so well equipped and not like any holiday home they have stayed in before. I think these comments are down to the fact that this was and still is our home, we still use it when we have all our family down and always have a great time.
