The cottage has full central heating throughout and is perfect for short breaks in the winter months.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds and a new en suite shower (view to rear garden).
Bathrooms: Bathroom situated on the ground floor adjacent to the kitchen and has just been newly fitted with bath, low level WC, basin with vanity unit, fully tiled.
Kitchen: Kitchen is newly fitted with antique pine units, and has gas hob, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, microwave and electric kettle. Window with views to rear garden.
Living Rooms: Lounge is finished in Purbeck Stone with flame effect gas fire, two x 2 seater sofas, TV with digital channels, DVD player and radio.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Clients are asked to provide their own towels, tea towels and bed linen. Duvets and pillows are provided.

Outside
To the rear of the property is a tiered courtyard garden which is south facing and peaceful. There is shared rear access through the gardens to the stone alleyway and roadside parking. Rotary washing line and garden table and chairs are provided. To the front of the property is a small paved area with views across the town and Purbeck Hills. Access to the front is via stone steps down to street level.

Coast/Beach
Swanage is in an excellent position for good beaches, 10 mins. walk downhill to reach the Town beach (a little longer coming back up)with soft golden sand and a view of the Purbeck Cliffs. Water Sports, fishing, boating are all available here in high season. Studland Bay is approx 3 miles from Swanage and is a National Trust protected area the beaches are outstanding and can be reached by public transport if needed.

Golf
There are good golf courses nearby with the most popular being The Isle of Purbeck In Studland approx. 3 miles away.

Travel
A car is not essential for a stay in Duck Cottage as everything is within walking distance. Although with use of a car you will find so much to explore in the area.

Distances
Situated within Swanage Town. There are places of interest within walking distance including the Swanage Steam Railway which takes you to Corfe Castle, areas of outstanding natural beauty and historical interest.

Further details
There is a convenience store, pub, and takeaway located some 300m from Duck Cottage. Stroll further down to the town and you will find a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. The area is famous for its' Jurassic Coastline and for those who like walking you are spoilt for choice.

Booking notes
Short breaks can be arranged for a minimum of 3 nights out of high season. We will accept one dog but they must be controlled at all times. Deposit of one third required at the time of booking unless within six weeks when full payment will be required. Credit Card payments accepted.
