Owner profile
About the owner
We have a policy that "nothing is a problem" at the farm and our aim is to make our guests feel that they are special and have a wonderful time.
Year purchased: 1996
Why the owner chose a home in this location
The Farm is Grade 11 listed and the stone structure dates back to 1585. The farm was derelict before we bought it in 1996 and we have spent many years lovingly restoring it to its original beauty. The is an abundance of history surrounding the farm, Neoglithic remains have been found as has a saxon knife in one of the walls. The Vikings have a big History around this area as do the Romans with a hoard of gold found only a mile away in what has now been uncovered as a roman villa.
