This cottage sleeps 5 in two double and one single bedroom, family bathroom with bath and shower and an en-suite with shower, full central heating and parking for one off road and space for two on road, recently refurbished and furnished to a very high standard. Flag stone floor sitting room with open fire place (not used! thatch!). One mile from Slapton Sands 6 miles from Kingsbridge and 9 miles from Dartmouth.

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation has been carried out with great expense and with consideration to the cottage and we would ask for consideration in its use.
Pets are welcome as long at they are kept in the utility room in the evening and not allowed up stairs, dog bed provided in the utility room nice and warm in there as this is where the boiler is located.
There is also WIFI connection included in the price.
Accessibility
Accessibility is not perfect for disabled guests. There are three steps to the front access but once in the floor is fairly level with one step between the sitting room and the kitchen.
Outside
Outside there is a car port area, The roof garden is now complete, a large raised decked area to sit and relax a real sun trap for those lazy afternoons. Two sun loungers and table and 6 chairs, tastefully decorated with planters. Plans are also in the early stages for an extension into a rear building to create a further double bedroom, taking us to three double and one single bedroom.
Coast/Beach
The coastal path within 1 mile is fabulous a must for anyone to see and walk.
Golf
Golf at Thurlestone, Bigbury and Dartmouth.
Skiing
Water Skiing, surfing and all other water sports within 10 minuites.
Special interest holidays
Horse riding is available near Kingsbridge as are many other activities. If walking is your thing then you will be in heaven walking the coastal path for miles.
Travel
Nearest airport is Bristol about 1½ hour by car. Plymouth is 40 mins away.

The property is owned by Edmund Haddock, I live in Gloucestershire, in my business within the property sector I came across Southern Cross Cottage.
Outside of work my interests are horses and NH racing. We also have holiday cottages in south Devon and nr Malvern where equine facilities are also available for those who want to bring their horses, dogs also welcome.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
I visit Devon regularly and happened across Corner Cottage purely by accident and fell in love with it. It so well located, 1 mile to the beach, two good pubs within walking distance, a fabulous farm shop 1/2 a mile away and roughly in the middle of Salcome and Dartmouth for those day out trips.
Unique benefits of the property
Two pubs within walking distance, both with very good menus, walk to the beach, or chill out with a book at home. Miles of coastal footpaths to explore. Many more pubs with excellent kitchens from Salcombe to Dartmouth.
