We purchased No 31, in June 2009 and it has been redecorated and re-carpeted throughout. Outside the fenced garden is over 50 foot long. There is a veranda with patio table and chairs plus a barbeque for your use. There is also a garden shed with a selection of toys, including small paddling pool. Due to the unbelievable success we purchased No 35 in October 2010. It is a slightly smaller plot (19 metres by 16 metres). It has also been refurbished to the same standards of our first chalet. Whether its peace and relaxation or a family holiday with plenty of activities for the kids our chalet has it all. They are two of a handful of chalets on the Hoburne Naish complex with their own private garden backing on to woodland on a quiet part of the site, yet within a couple of minutes walk of all the facilities. The site is on a clifftop overlooking the Isle of Wight and Christchurch Bay. The New Forest is less than 10 minutes drive away and Bournemouth about 20 minutes.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. 10% discount offered for 2 consecutive weeks booked. Weekly price includes club passes. Short breaks available out of peak season at a cost of £40 per night for 31, Glenside or £35 per night for 35, Glenside. Club passes can be purchased directly from the reception desk at a cost of £8 per day for the whole chalet. Between 1st November to the 1st March the chalets are only available for weekend breaks of 2 or 3 nights.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Chalet available from 4pm, departure at 10am. Keys collected and returned to the reception desk.

35, Glenside

| No. 35 is the same size chalet as No. 31, but only has two bedrooms and a separate lounge and kitchen, making it feel more spacious. There is 1 double bedroom (4ft bed) with wardrobe, pine chest of drawers and bedside table. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and a single wardrobe. Full bathroom, with shower over the bath. Electric cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board. In the lounge there will be a leather sofa with separate leather sofa bed, 32" LCD TV with Freeview, DVD player, selection of DVDs. Playstation 2 plus selection of games. Table and chairs to sleep 6. Linen for all beds is provided, along with tea towels and hand towels. | |
Notes on accommodation
Electric heaters in all bedrooms, plus portable electric heaters. Travel cot and highchair available £5 per week each.
Both chalets have outside storage containing various toys, scooters, footballs, tennis balls and rackets etc.
Both chalets have verandahs with table and chairs to seat 6 people.
Unfortunately the park itself does not allow pets.
Accessibility
There are parking facilities within minutes walk of each chalet. It is about 2-3 minutes walk to the club house, or you can drive there. There is a slight slope to the chalets, but no steps. Each chalet has one step to get into the chalet but once in the chalet they are all on one level. Unfortunately due to the age of the chalets they have standard width doors, so not suitable for use of wheelchairs inside.
Outside
Patio table and chairs (6) on verandas. BBQs. Sheds containing a selection of toys, including small paddling pool, pop up tent, scooter, space hopper, football, tennis rackets and balls.
On-site facilities include: indoor pool plus brand new children's pool area. Outdoor pool (mid May to mid September). Fitness room, indoor soft play area, large kids adventure playground, Sammy Seahorse Club - daytime and evening entertainment for the children. (entertainment not available between end of October and beginning of March, but bars and restaurants fully open.)
Crazy golf, pool table, table tennis, small bowling alley, tennis court, amusement arcade, Wi-Fi hotspot in club - charges apply.
Basketball/mini football pitch, clubhouse with satellite TV, restaurant and snack bar, Costcutter supermarket, launderette (club passes included in the price for week holidays, or can be purchase from reception for £7.50 per day for the whole chalet for short breaks).
Coast/Beach
The site is situated on a clifftop overlooking the Isle of Wight and Christchurch Bay. The beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the chalets.
Travel
If you do not have a car the nearest train station, New Milton, is less than 10 minutes away by Taxi. Good local bus services. Hoburne Naish even supply their own bus service daily to Bournemouth during high season.
Distances
For those with a car the New Forest is less than 10 minutes drive away, Bournemouth about 20 minutes. You can take your car, or go as a walking passenger, on the Wightlink ferry to the Isle of Wight for a good day out.

Hoburne Naish club passes included in the price for bookings of 1 week or more, or they can be purchased upon arrival from the reception at a cost of £7.50 per day for the whole chalet for short breaks.
Booking notes
A £50 per week deposit secures your booking, with the final balance due 6 weeks before arrival. At the time of the final balance payment we also require a £50 housekeeping deposit which will be banked and then refunded 10 days after departure providing the chalet has been left clean and with no breakages.

We have had a wonderful stay in your lovely chalet. Lots of room, beautiful view into the garden and sound of birds. Loads to do and see. We have loved every minute. Jackie, Ben and family stayed Easter 2010, phoned within an hour of arriving to book for next Easter!
We had a wonderful time. We've stayed at the site lots of times and love it here. This chalet is the best we've stayed in. It has everything you need plus more. The gardens was such a bonus, Sam loved the squirrels and rabbits. Rachel, Carl & family.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We only purchased the chalet in June 2009. We were looking at different chalets on the site, but as soon as we walked down the path to the chalet we knew we had to buy it. It is so peaceful you could be anywhere, yet within a couple of minutes walk you have all the facilities provided on the site for your use. The sandy beach is only 5 minutes walk away, and when the sun's out in the summer it's just like being in Spain or Portugal! If you walk in one direction you end up in Milford on Sea and Keyhaven. In the other direction you end up at Mudeford and Hengitsbury Head, where wooden beach huts costs over 100k!
