The cottage is ideally situated on the edge of the New Forest and is ideal for exploring. Set in half acre of beautiful gardens with a Thatched Inn next door. We welcome dogs and offer a homely environment. The gas wardburner within the original Inglenook fireplace offers guests a very cosy and warm atmosphere and during the summer months a barbecue is available for our guests to use. We are also able to offer a welcome hamper and cycle hire which we will be happy to quote on. All guests receive a complimentary bottle of red/white wine on arrival. We are also able to offer a surprise birthday/anniversary package on request.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Short breaks For a minimum of three nights can be accommodated from October until April excluding the Easter, Christmas/New Year period. Dogs are welcome but we do charge £14 per pet.
Changeover day
Changeover days are Friday to Friday from 3pm. Departure time is 10am. For short breaks from October until April we are able to offer Friday to Monday. Short breaks at an arranged price.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 is situated on the ground floor and has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and vanity unit. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and en-suite. |
| Bathrooms: | Downstairs bathroom has a claw bath, vanity unit, toilet. Upstairs bathroom has a shower, vanity unit and toilet. We also offer a bath seat, hand grips, raised toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom to accommodate guests with restrictive movement. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen area is spacious with a cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and all kitchen amenities including a television and CD player. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge area has all the original beams and an open inglenook fireplace and original bread oven. Comfortably seating six people on two leather sofas. Sky television, DVD facilities are available and a gas wood burner within the fireplace. |
| Other: | The cottage dining room is situated next to the kitchen and comfortably sits six people around the solid pine table with easy access to the back garden area. |

The cottage is cleaned on the day of arrival. Clean hand towels are supplied (Should bath towels/Extra linen be requested then an additional charge of £4 per towel/sheet will be applied prior to arrival). |

Notes on accommodation
The cottage is not just a holiday home but a family home and therefore we wish to welcome guests who will enjoy and respect an historic/family home with all comforts. The garden is a magical place for children and a relaxing and enjoyable experience for adults. Rabbits often visit the grounds and at night the sound of owls can be heard in the stillness of the night.
Accessibility
We offer guests with mobility problems the facility of a removable wheelchair ramp and we also can accommodate a wheelchair on site. The downstairs bathroom has a raised toilet seat and wall grips together with a seat for the bath.
Outside
The half acre garden area is typical of a cottage garden with two ponds and is maintained on a weekly basis by two gardeners. There is a Wendy house where the barbecue and comfortable deck chairs can be found, together with a bench table.
Coast/Beach
The cottage is situated 30 minutes by car from Bournemouth beach and 35 minutes from Poole. Both venues offer beautiful views of the English Channel and are ideal for both adults and children to enjoy.
Travel
The nearest airport is Bournemouth (25 minutes away). Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Bristol are between 1 to 1.05 hours away. Car hire or the use of a car is essential to reach the cottage. (Car hire can be arranged on request).
Distances
The cottage is situated between Fordingbridge and Ringwood. approx 3/4 miles. Southampton and Salisbury are about half hour away.
Further details
The cottage is three miles from Fordingbridge which is probably one of the most famous towns in the New Forest and Ringwood. Both towns have supermarkets, banks, restaurants etc. The local market can be visited on Wednesdays in Ringwood.
Booking notes
To book the cottage. We require a holding deposit of £150 and full payment and a refundable cheque in case of damages 6 weeks prior to the holiday break.
