Converted from original Hay Barn built by Squire Mucklow in the 1880s hence Squire, Mucklow and Barn Cottages. All three cottages have original beams and some stone walls. Lounges and kitchens are upstairs to take advantage of the views and sunsets. Tennis, outdoor swimming pool, games room and play area here on the farm for your use. Less than a mile from Widemouth Bay which has a pub and shop selling fresh fish. 3 mile drive along the coast road into Bude. Bude which stays alive 12 months of the year is a small town which has indoor swimming pool, indoor bowling, numerous restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Numerous attractions nearby including Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac. The Eden Project is about 1 hour drive away.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday but is flexible out of the main holiday period. Short breaks are welcomed. Arrival time is from 2.30pm onwards and departure time is 10.00am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed and single. Bedroom 2 with bunk beds. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom which is downstairs has bath, shower, toilet and heated towel rail. |
| Kitchen: | Fully equipped including cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. Also a shared laundry room containing washing machines and dryers. |
| Living Rooms: | Upstairs to take advantage of the views. The lounge is open plan with the kitchen and dining area. Contains a sofa and two chairs. TV, DVD and video players. There is also a pull-down bed in the lounge. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen, tea towels are supplied. Towels can be hired for a small donation towards charity. The cottages are cleaned after each booking when the linen and towels are changed. |

Notes on accommodation
Night storage heating and electric heating. The cottage is fully suitable for children.
Accessibility
The cottage has stairs so is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
There is a garden outside which is not enclosed. Barbecue available and patio furniture. The swimming pool outside is about 30 feet in length. It is heated and has a solar cover. It is shared with other cottages.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Widemouth Bay is about 3/4 mile away. It should take about 10 minutes by walking.
Golf
Bude has golf course which 3 miles away.
Travel
Plymouth, Exeter and Newquay airports are all within 1hour distance by car. To ensure that the area is fully explored a car is recommended.
Distances
Widemouth Bay and the coastal footpath are 3/4 mile away. Bude is 3 miles away. Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac all within half hour travel. The Eden Project is 1 hour travel.
Further details
The shop is down at the bay which sells newspapers, milk and fresh fish etc. The local pub is at the Bay which offers food. Numerous other eating places are in Bude together with banks and supermarkets. Bude is about 3 miles.
Booking notes
On booking a deposit of a third is payable with the balance payable 2-3 weeks before arrival. The payment method is by cheque.
