Situated towards the castle end of West Street and offering stunning views of the river, September Cottage has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to the highest standard. It sleeps up to 4. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are downstairs, while the comfortable lounge/dining area and kitchen are all upstairs to take advantage of the views across the harbour to Fowey and Readymoney Cove. The coastal path is 50 yards from the door and Fowey is five minutes away by ferry from the harbour.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Friday, but out of season we can be more flexible.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with king size bed has a view of the harbour. Bedroom 2 with king size bed, which can be split to form two singles. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with small bath/shower over, wc. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is compact, but ingeniously designed. It includes oven/hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. There is a small cafe style table with two chairs. There is a view across the harbour entrance to Readymoney Cove. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has views of the water and has two sofas, painted furniture and a wood burning stove. There is also a dining table with four chairs. It is fully equipped with a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and stereo. |
| Other: | In an alcove in the porch, there is a washer/dryer and a small freezer. On the staircase, there are shelves with an extensive selection of books. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
We can provide linen, but not towels or tea towels. The rental includes 2 hours cleaning when you leave. |

Accessibility
The cottage is not really suitable for people with mobility problems, as parking is not available near the cottage and Polruan is quite hilly.

Further details
Polruan has a well stocked village shop, two pubs serving food and a small tea-shop. Fowey has a number of excellent restaurants, interesting shops, art galleries and banking facilities. There are large supermarkets in St Austell (Tesco and Asda) and Liskeard (Morrisons) and a useful Spar and an excellent butcher in Pelynt.
Booking notes
We ask for a third of the rental fee when you make your booking, the balance being payable eight weeks before your departure. We do not take a damages deposit.

About the owner
My husband and I have owned our flat for over 20 years. We started renting it immediately and have welcomed many people back year after year. I am a French teacher and both my husband and I love the south of France. Our three children still love to come back to Cavaliere for their holidays and soon I hope that our grandchildren will learn to love it as much as we do. We also have a cottage in Cornwall which we also rent through Owners Direct (E1426).
