There is a private outdoor heated swimming pool (heated beween May and September) which measures approx 8x4m. There are large areas of decking and terracing with outdoor seating for up to 18, barbecue and patio heaters. The property is let as one single unit, although discounts are available for smaller groups.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Milstead is a very pretty village located between Faversham and Sittingbourne in Kent. We saw the property in July 1999 and fell in love with it. After we replaced the thatched roof of the Farmhouse in 2001, we then set about rebuilding the garage block and subsequently the stable cottage. We also renovated the Barn and re-landscaped the grounds, to include the water feature.
Although set in a very tranquil village, we are only 47 miles to central London, very well served by either the M20 or M2 and also train services to London Victoria (59 mins).
We are also close to various beaches, such as Whitstable, Barnstable.
Unique benefits of the property
Judging from what our guests comment, then peace and quiet, fantastic location for exploring the North Downs or Kent in general, beautiful gardens and outdoor pool, ability to accommodate 18 (we have had 3 generations of 1 family celebrate a 60th birthday recently).
All linen and towels are included, as are toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames. A comprehensive welcome hamper is also included in the tariff.
