Just 5 miles from the Cathedral City of Exeter with the beaches of Exmouth, Sidmouth and Dawlish about 20-30 minutes away - with the majesty of Dartmoor and its splendour 20 miles from here. Topsham is a beautiful town, still retaining its character and an ideal place for family holidays or out-of-season breaks. We boast of our Dutch architecture, our sea-faring traditions, our small independent shops. Our lively market, our pubs, restaurants and eateries. But most of all - our friendly community.

Changeover day
Tenancies commence on Saturdays at 3pm and terminate on Saturdays at 10am in high season. At other times of year and for 3 night breaks please contact us.

Notes on accommodation
ChurchView is a large family apartment with unusually spacious accommodation for this part of Topsham. All of the rooms have been recently decorated and the furniture and beds are all new for 2009. Ideal for families and couples but younger children may need to be supervised.
Accessibility
Unfortunately this accommodation is not suitable for disabled visitors or wheelchair users.
Outside
The garden at the rear of the property is privately owned and access is not allowed. But in Topsham we have a nearby grass recreation ground with play equipment, swings and a mountain bike course. Our town heated outdoor swimming pool is open from mid May to mid September.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Exmouth, Sidmouth & Dawlish Warren are about 30 minutes away. All of these beaches are Blue Flag accredited.
Exmouth beach can easily be reached by train from Topsham.
Golf
Exeter Golf & Country Club - 10 minutes.
There are other popular golf courses and driving ranges available nearby.
Special interest holidays
Bird watching on the Exe Estuary and surrounding marshes. River trips. All avaible from RSPB and local boat and ferry operators. We can supply details to coincide with your holiday.
Travel
Exeter International Airport is 30 minutes by car. Taxis are available from Airport as are hire cars.
Ferry Port at Plymouth is 1 1/2 hrs away on an easy road.
Distances
City of Exeter - 4 miles.
Dawlish Warren - 10 miles.
Plymouth - 40 miles.
Dartmoor - 20 miles.
Torquay - 15 miles.

Topsham is just full of everything! We have 2 banks and cash points, a Post Office, a Co-op supermarket - and just outside Topsham award winning Darts Farm. A local butchers, a greengrocers, a Deli, a wine shop, a cheese shop, an antiques market, a variety of gift and curio shops, award winning restaurants and eateries and town and riverside pubs. A Saturday Market at Matthews Hall and our popular outdoor heated swimming pool just at the back of the Fire Station. A bowling green & tennis courts. Plus, of course, luxury Devon ice creams from Auntie Julie's Sweetie Shop - just below you.
Topsham Station is on the branch line between Exmouth and Exeter, and is a 5 minute walk from the centre of town.
There is limited on-street parking and there are 3 fee-paying car parks near with free parking from 5pm - 9am everyday. You can probably pick-up an interesting bargain at Topsham Quay Antiques Centre - 70 independent dealers under one roof.

A booking/security deposit of £45 per week (or as applicable) is charged. The deposit is refundable at the end of the holiday subject to breakages etc. Cancellation: deposit refunded if we can re-let.
