Formerly a working dairy farm, Coldharbour Farm is situated in a tranquil, secluded setting within walking distance of the historic Cornish county town of Bodmin. Coldharbour Farm is a haven for relaxing. Unwind in our lawned garden with views over Bodmin town and the surrounding countryside. Barbecues are available for enjoying a meal with family and friends. Have fun playing table tennis, pool, darts or table football in our games room. Children can enjoy our safe enclosed play area. Located in the heart of Cornwall, approximately 20 minutes from the north and south coasts, and with easy access to the A30 trunk road, Coldharbour farm is your key to unlock a treasure chest of Cornish jewels. The ground floor of a two storey barn originally the milking parlour, now a bright cottage with open plan living/dining area incorporating a well equipped kitchen. Magpie has two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a bathroom/WC with over bath shower.

The upper half of a two storey barn, originally the hay barn and grain store. This cottage is accessed via nine external stone steps. Kingfisher is now a spacious cottage with a well equipped kitchen and large living/dining area with four bedrooms (one double with en-suite bathroom, two twin rooms and one single bedroom), shower room/wc.

Notes on accommodation
Prices are all inclusive with the exception of tumble dryers which are coin operated. A laundry room is available for all guests with washing machines, tumble dryers (coin operated) and ironing facilities.
High chairs and cots are available by arrangement. Small well behaved pets welcome in some cottages by arrangement. Cream tea on arrival. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and milk.

Accessibility
All accommodation with the exception of Kingfisher is on the ground floor and on a single level. However, all ground floor cottages are accessed by an external step.

Outside
Ample parking in our private car park, approached via a 100 metre, tree lined private drive. Lawned area with garden furniture and picnic tables, BBQ on request.
Games room with pool table, table football, table tennis and darts. Enclosed children's play area including swings, activity trail, play house and slide.

Coast/Beach
Cornwall is renowned for its beautiful beaches, ancient fishing villages and rugged coastline. Located in the heart of Cornwall both north and south coasts are easily accessible. Closest beaches are 12 miles in either direction. Beautiful sandy beaches stretch for miles around the Cornish coast and boast superb surfing, body boarding and other water sport activities. Stretching around the entire Cornish coast is the South West Coastal Path which is very popular with walkers.

Golf
Lanhydrock Golf Club 18 hole - 2.5 miles. Lostwithiel Golf Club 18 hole - 6.3 miles.

Local shops a 5 minutes on foot. Choice of supermarkets in and around Bodmin town. Choice of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and shops in Bodmin town. Banking facilities available in Bodmin town. High street banks and building societies available in Bodmin town.

Newquay Airport -19 miles (approx 40 minutes).
Plymouth Airport -33 miles (approx 55 minutes).
Exeter Airport -71 miles (approx 1 hour 40 minutes).
Bodmin Parkway mainline railway station - 4 miles (approx 10 minutes).
Plymouth Ferry terminal - 33 miles (approx 50 minutes).

Further details
Within a few miles of Coldharbour Farm are the awe inspiring Bodmin Moor, the fine Cornish National trust estate at Lanhydrock, superb cycling and walking on the Camel Trail, and, for wine connoisseurs, the Camel Valley Vineyard. For golf enthusiasts Lanhydrock Golf Club is on the outskirts of town. A short walk takes you to Bodmin and Wenford Railway where you can experience the golden age of steam. The once notorious Bodmin Gaol, now a tourist attraction and restaurant, is just over a mile away, as are a variety of leisure facilities including tennis, swimming and squash. For dining out and special occasions there is a wide selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets in and around Bodmin town.

Further afield you will discover golden beaches, rugged coastline, picturesque villages, historic buildings and famous gardens a short drive away. Ancient fishing villages and harbours such as Padstow, Polperro, Fowey, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel dot the spectacular coastline, while sandy beaches provide a mecca for bathing, surfing and body boarding. Close by are the world famous Eden Project (10 miles) and the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan (18 miles).
