Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Flexible start dates where possible. Short breaks of two, three nights etc available subject to prior bookings, at any time of year.
Payments by cheque, International Money Order or Paypal welcomed.
Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday, but we are totally flexible on this, if bookings allow it. Usual arrival times are 3.00pm. and departure at 10.00am., but this can also be flexible, depending on other bookings.

Full gas central heating with radiators and woodburner ensure the cottage is extremely warm and cosy during cold weather.
Suitable for children - stair-gate provided.
May be unsuitable for elderly or infirm due to step at threshold into most rooms.

Coast/Beach
8 miles to beautiful sandy beach at victorian resort of Southwold with its famous recently rebuilt pier, promenade, and home of the Adnams brewery. Sandy beaches also at nearby Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, famous for its boating lake. Further afield are the magnificent beaches at Lowestoft, 20 miles away, and the fabulous north Norfolk coast with the resorts of Cromer, Mundesley and Sheringham, with its steam railway.
Golf
Halesworth golf course is approx 1 mile away. Bungay golf course at approx 8 miles.
Travel
Nearest airport is at Norwich, 25 miles away.
Railway station in Halesworth
Nearest ports are Harwich and Felixstowe.
Use of car recommended, but Halesworth has excellent rail and bus services.

Further details
The town of Halesworth offers a colourful selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants along its pedestrianised thoroughfare, together with branches of all the large national banks and building societies. The local supermarket is within walking distance of Weavers Cottage.
We have a superb theatre and cinema complex in the town at the new cut, together with a town museum, art gallery and pretty churches.

About the owner
Weavers Cottage belongs to our son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Liz, who are in New Zealand at the moment. We are renting out the cottage for them in the hope that one day they will return!! Lee and Liz lived in the cottage for about five years after they were married, and so it is a fully equipped and thoughtfully designed family home with lots of extras not usually found in holiday accommodation.
My name is Joyce, and I caretake the property with my husband Paul. We have taken many, many self-catering holidays over the years with our children (now all sadly grown-up!) and so we know exactly what we like to find on arriving at a holiday home and use that experience to ensure that our guests feel comfortable and completely enjoy their stay with us.
