Owner profile
About the owner
I have run my business for over 35 years. We are a family business; my husband and daughter both help in their spare time. We dedicate ourselves to providing a personal and friendly service, specialising in family holidays.
Year purchased: 1970's
Why the owner chose a home in this location
Sandbanks, despite the recent media attention, is a peaceful and idyllic place. I used to holiday with my mother on Sandbanks in the 70s and used every penny I had to buy the cottages. They are a wonderful retreat at any time of the year and such a fantastic fun-filled place for children to play and explore. There are enough amusements to fill up a holiday all year round. The location is also great being not too far from London or the Midlands.
Unique benefits of the property
Having the beach just a couple of minutes walk away is probably the best advantage the cottages boast. The views of the harbour are also breathtaking; there's always something to watch. The local area has so much to offer for all tastes and you never have to go far to find what you want. Bournemouth is a wonderfully cosmopolitan town and offers a great range of attractions. The quaint fishing town of Poole also has a wonderful seaside charm, especially on the Quay. It's a wonderful area because you can have the peace and quiet of the sea and nature or the hustle and bustle of the local towns, restaurants and other attractions, or both!
