Coast/Beach
Porth beach is a family friendly beach with a lifeguard during peak season and the benefit of being sheltered by headlands. At low tide, there is a freshwater stream. Porth Island can be explored from the coastal path and has beautiful views and sunsets. Stunning beaches surround Porth including Fistral, Lusty Glaze, Whipsiderry and Watergate Bay and are ideal for surfing.

Golf
Newquay golf course is 2.5 miles away with views over Fistral Beach. Trevose Golf Club is 10 miles away.

Travel
Porth is ideally located to be able to walk and leave the car in your private car space if you want a car-free holiday. Or travel by car and enjoy all the amenities of North Cornwall which are closeby. Newquay airport is 5 miles away and the railway station is less than 2 miles away.

Distances
The delightful harbour town of Padstow is within easy reach and ever popular St Ives to the south. All the other attractions of Cornwall are easily accessible including the Eden Project, Newquay Zoo and Lands End. A beach cafe and pub are both yards away.

Further details
Activities include enjoying the stunning scenery on the South West coast path and cycling on the Camel trail. I live with my husband Paul and 2 lovely little daughters in Bristol. Both our properties have been given the seal of approval by the very high standards of our 3 and 5 year olds!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We have always enjoyed Cornwall and wanted to buy a property in Newquay for its gorgeous coastline. We then discovered Porth by chance and loved it. You drive down the tiny road to the beach and it is like you are in a haven. You are right next door to Newquay and yet Porth is so peacefully set back by itself. It is a lovely big sandy beach with the benefit of a little stream which our girls adore fishing in and sitting on their boogie boards. If you want to walk into Newquay, or exlore other beaches, you can take a leisurely stroll along the coastal path and arrive in no time. Its a perfect location.

Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is newly built and beautifully finished by the builders. They are hoping to win an award within Newquay for its design and finish. It is right on the beach so you can relax on the balcony or stroll to and from the beach as you wish. The windows in both the kitchen and lounge overlook the beach allowing a gorgeous view from the balcony or from the lounge during the colder months.
