Cope Holiday Cottage, converted from the mill house, sleeps two; it has a 30' by 15' terracotta library / drawing-room / dining-room, with a high pitched roof and a Gothic stone fireplace. The bedroom has a gleaming, dark polished wooden floor, a high pitched ceiling with old beams,and a 6' bed, framed by gold-and-blue bed hangings and flanked by 18th Century prints. |

Sandown Cottage (2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4)

| Sandown Holiday Cottage occupies pride of place in the courtyard, set back behind the three central arches. It used to be the carriage house, and its large open-plan drawing-room / dining-room / kitchen has truly noble proportions, with an 11' ceiling, and length and width to match. | |

Newmarket (4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8)

Newmarket Cottage has four bedrooms, sleeping eight and is ideal for wheelchair access. All the bedrooms have ensuite shower or bath rooms, with marble-topped washstands. From the entrance, you go straight into an enormous open-plan drawing-room / dining-room / kitchen with a high ceiling and large, well proportioned windows. It is decorated in elegant Gustavian style, with pale grey walls, off-white rugs and off-white or grey painted woodwork. |

The cottages all have central heating, open log fires, washing/dryer, DVD, Sky, barbeque.
Outside
Each holiday cottage has its own terrace, with garden furniture, a barbecue and a big white umbrella. They have wide borders on each side, thickly planted, and behind them trellis almost buried under climbers.
A lot of our guests come back to the Cotswolds because they just love being at Bruern Holiday Cottages. Some love the gardens, which are our pride and joy. But there's also croquet, tennis and swimming in the heated outdoor pool; and in the games room there's pool, table tennis, table football and darts.

Half an hour from Junction 8 M40, (and Oxford) and an hour and a half from London.

"I arrived on a lovely spring day and could happily have taken residence until Christmas. I stayed in Cope, a one bedroom holiday cottage with a 30ft-high vaulted sitting room, which I noticed contained more books than I've managed to accumulate over 30 years. A large slice of coffee-and-walnut cake in the hearty welcome basket just about left room for the tasty, pop-in-the-oven homemade fish pie left out for my supper."
