There are beaches in Bournemouth and Sandbanks approx 10 miles. Christchurch/Mudeford approx 10 miles. Bournemouth and Sandbanks beaches have blue flag status.

There are various Forest Golf courses in surrounding areas. i.e. Ashley Heath, Burley and Bramshaw.

Travel
Fly to Bournemouth or Southampton airports - Mockbeggar is approximately 20 to 30 minutes drive from either airport.
By car we are 5 minutes from the main A338 road running from Ringwood to Salisbury. Bournemouth airport is 25km and the Ferry terminal at Poole is 36km.

Distances
The property is situated between the market town of Ringwood (approx 6 miles) and the New Forest town of Fordingbridge (approx 4 miles). The Cathedral City of Salisbury is 15 miles and the Historic Southampton Port 20 miles. We can recommend local bars and restaurants providing good food and real ales, from quality bar food to A la Carte.

Further details
In Ringwood you will find all main banks together with Sainsburys and Waitrose supermarkets. There are local riding stables for the horse enthusiast and cycle hire is also available locally. Sandy Balls Camping and Leisure Centre is a short drive away providing health and fitness facilities. New Forest Water Park is approx 1 mile away, providing water skiing, banana rides and ringos. There is local fishing in Fordingbridge.
