| Completely renovated and private throughout. Entrance hall with easy stairs to bedroom with twin beds or zip together super-king bed (on request), dressing table, drawers, wardrobe, digital TV with DVD player. Small Juliet balcony overlooking river. Lounge 32" digital TV, DVD and Video. CD with I-Pod dock. Leather sofa and dining table with 4 chairs. Large fridge/freezer. French doors to riverside patio. Downstairs bathroom has large walk-in shower (big enough for 2?) WC and wash basin. Small kitchen with electric 4 ring cooker, grill, separate oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster, microwave, kettle, dishwasher. 2nd entrance door. 2 outdoor seating areas- one outside the main entrance with table and 4 chairs; the other completely private by the river with table and chairs. | |
Notes on accommodation
Both properties are fully centrally heated and fully equipped. For safety reasons, Splash Mill is unsuitable for children under the age of 10 years. The Stables is joined to the side of The Mill but very private. Both properties are 4 star Visit England rated. I also have a B&B here and this can offer additional accommodation.
Accessibility
Sadly none of the properties are suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems. The Stables have a modern staircase suitable for those with slight mobility problems.
Outside
Both properties are set alongside the small river that runs through the grounds. Splash Windmill has a veranda running round the outside of the entire first floor overlooking the Village bowling green. A wooden bench and several tables with chairs are provided. It also has a ground floor outside seating area with table and chairs. The Stables has a paved riverside area outside the lounge and a large paved area outside the front door with table and chairs.
Golf
Wentworth Golf 15 minute drive, Sunningdale 20 minute drive.
Travel
Heathrow Airport 5 miles away, 15 minutes by car. Gatwick Airport 40 minutes by car. Portsmouth ferries approx 1 hour by car. A car is not essential for these properties as Wraysbury train station with trains to London/Windsor is a 10 minute walk away, buses around the corner and local shops/pub 1 minutes walk.

Set within Wraysbury Village, Windsor 3 miles, Hampton Court 30 minutes drive, Ascot 20 minutes drive, Staines 2 miles, Wentworth 8 miles.
Further details
Local shops/pubs within a few yards. Supermarkets and banks in Staines 2 miles. Many restaurants within a short drive.
Booking notes
Minimum stay of 2 nights Winter- 1 week Summer. Bookings taken 3 months max. prior to arrival. Shorter stays considered closer to the date if unbooked. All bookings are made by credit card, 50% of the total cost is taken at booking as a non-refundable, non-negotiable deposit. Remaining 50% is payable on arrival and subject to a cancellation period of 7 days taken from date of arrival. Number in the party and ages of children must be stated.

We had a most enjoyable stay in The Stables. Everything was very comfortable and well arranged. Super bathroom and shower - well appointed kitchen and luxurious bedroom. It is an idyllic spot and we were very loath to leave. Barbara & Terry
Geoff and I had a thoroughly relaxing week at the cottage - thank you for all the little things you did which helped to make our stay so enjoyable.
The accommodation contained everything we needed and was more spacious than we had expected. We were particularly impressed with the
bathroom facilities, especially the shower!
Our stay was really lovely. Splash Mill is quite unique and we all loved staying in it, I especially liked sitting on the balcony late in the afternoon soaking up the sun. It was very peaceful.
On arrival the kitchen was stacked with all types of cereal, milk,butter, orange juice, home made jams and home make bread. This was a really nice touch - now my kids eat granary bread!!! Andrea.
