Blue Door house is a beautiful three bedroom light and spacious artist's town house full of original and interesting features with a sunny raised garden and fantastic views into the harbour and surrounding coastline. The house is situated on a quiet traffic free terrace just two minutes stroll to the main shopping street, Tate gallery and sandy beaches. It is an ideal choice for families as it offers plenty of living space arranged over three floors, comfortably accommodating six people. The house has been stylishly renovated with a light and airy open plan feel giving it a distinctive and original interior, including french doors on the first floor landing which lead out onto the raised decking and garden beyond. We also welcome well behaved dogs at the house.

Changeover day
The house rents from Friday to Friday. The house will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on your day of departure.

Twin room with bunk beds 3' mattresses and selection of children's games and books.
Bathrooms: Large bathroom with roll top bath, stripped wood floor, toilet and sink. Thermostat controlled powerful over bath shower and other chrome finishes including heated towel rail.
Kitchen: A charming rustic kitchen with hand built kitchen units with all the modern conveniences including large stainless steel fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave.
Living Rooms: Large 21' through lounge/dining room with original stripped wooden floors and doors. Ercol dining table and Laura Ashley leather sofa and fire side chair. There is also a three seat slouchy sofa. Flat screen 32" TV, DVD/CD player.

All linen is included. Please note that all pillows and duvets are feather/goose down filled. Towels are not provided.

 

Notes on accommodation
Blue Door House is the ideal choice for a home from home holiday with all the mod cons one would expect. Being large and spacious it is great for families and room for relatives too. There are toys and games for the children and your dog can come along too- There is a £25 surcharge for dogs to allow for extra cleaning etc.

There is a secluded slate paved courtyard off the kitchen with an outside tap for rinsing and drying wetsuits and towels. Accessed from the first floor landing via patio doors is a south-facing decked area over looking the garden ideal for alfresco dining. Equipped with table and chairs and Barbeque.

Coast/Beach
Blue Door House is approximately 300 meters gentle stroll to the Harbour Beach and promenade. Porthmeor, famous for surfers, and the Tate Gallery which overlooks this beach are just a bit further on through the town's quaint cobbled streets.

Travel
Newquay airport is approximately 40 miles from the property. The train station is about 500 meters from the house. There is a taxi bay nearby.

One third deposit secures booking. Full payment must be made 2 months before your stay. For bookings made less than 2 months before your holiday start date, please pay the full amount plus £100 damage deposit (as separate cheque).
