This charming Grade II listed traditional stone and slate cottage is situated in the popular village of St Mabyn within easy reach on North Cornwall’s famous visitor attractions. The cottage has recently been completely restored with new bathroom fittings, bedrooms, kitchen and appliances. Sleeping up to 6 persons in 3 double bedrooms with private enclosed gardens to the rear, Barn Parc Cottage is ideal for families with young children, golfers, walkers, water sport enthusiasts and anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. If all you want to do is chill out, the village pub and shop are just a couple of minutes walk down the road!

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds including all linens towels and final laundry.
Long weekends and midweek changeovers can be arranged for low season.

Changeover day
Normally Saturday but it may be possible to arrange other days and long weekends.

Bedrooms: 3 double bedrooms with quality zip and link beds which can be arranged as 3’ twins or 6’ doubles as required.
Please advise your requirements at the time of booking.
Stair gate & cot available on request (please supply your cot linen and bedding).
Bathrooms: Family bathroom with a powerful overbath shower, hand basin and WC.
Kitchen: Electric cooker with halogen hob and double/fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and blender.
Utility Room: Automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Space for muddy boots and wet suits. There is also a BBQ and a croquet set.
Living Rooms: Two 3 seater comfy sofas, Free satellite TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi. Card table and 2 fireside captains’ chairs. There is also a collection of books games and DVDs for your enjoyment while staying at the cottage.
Other: Traditional conservatory which is used as the dining room. Pine dining table and chairs seats up to 8. High chair available on request.

Notes on accommodation
Central heating. Bedroom 3 is downstairs with flat access from the outside and to the downstairs bathroom. Due to the age of the property there are different floor levels with one or 2 steps elsewhere to sitting room. Although the cottage is not equipped with a computer, WiFi broadband access is available for guests who have a laptop suitably equipped with a wireless adapter.

Outside
There is a separate access to the rear courtyard, patio and garden though a lockable side door making it safer for children as well parking for bikes and surf boards etc. There is garden furniture and a BBQ. The garden is enclosed.

Coast/Beach
North Cornwall has some stunning beaches. Daymer beach is 10 miles away. Port Isaac is 7 miles and Padstow with all its Stein emporia is 11 Cornish miles away. Polzeath surfer's paradise is 10 miles.

Golf
There is a friendly 9 hole course at St Kew GC 2 miles away. There are 18 hole courses at Roserrow GC (9 miles) and St Enedoc GC (10 miles).

Special interest holidays
There are surfing schools at Polzeath Beach and a water-skiing school based in Rock. Wonderful routes for walking and hiking for flower lovers and birdwatchers. Cycling the Camel Trail is a must and there are plenty of bike hire shops in Wadebridge. The Eden Project, Heligan and The National Trust properties Trerice and Llanhydrock House and Gardens are nearby.

Travel
We are conveniently located for Newquay airport (15 miles) and Bodmin Parkway Railway station is 10 miles. Plymouth airport 38 miles. Bristol 140 miles. Exeter 65 miles.

Distances
Wadebridge 4 miles. Eden Project 19 miles. Heligan 23 miles.

Further details
There is a very good shop and post office in St Mabyn and for dedicated shoppers there is a recently extended Tesco in Wadebridge. The St Mabyn Inn does excellent real ales and good food. Also the St Kew Inn, renowned for its superb food, ales from the wood and garden dining, is only 3 miles away.
