Why the owner chose a home in this location
Once we saw the property and its location we knew that it was the perfect holiday home. The house was newly built and has got fantastic sea and coastal views. Downderry is a beautiful Cornish village that is still relatively undiscovered, located in what the locals call Cornwall's 'forgotten corner'.
The village is very well serviced and unlike a lot of Cornish holiday spots does not close down during the winter months.
Great pub, shop, cafe and restaurant by Nick Barclay, called Blue Plate. Lots of other nice Inns locally, with Looe only 15 mins drive.
Unique benefits of the property
The property offers fabulous seav views, is newly built and so offers all modern conveniences. It was designed to capitalise fully on its location and so the maximum amount of glass allowed under current planning regulations has been used. It is lavishly furnished and neutrally decorated. We also have full WiFi in the property enabling constant contact with the office (if needed).
All linen and towels are included, as are toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames. A comprehensive welcome hamper is also included in the tariff.
