Converted to provide spacious, character family homes, the Barn is fully equipped for family living and has well stocked gardens, patio areas and parking for several cars. Close at hand is the pretty village of Mawnan Smith with its thatched pub and popular Italian restaurant and there is a farm shop stocking local fruit, veg, bread and dairy products 400 yards away. Local and nearby golf courses include Budock Vean 9-hole course (4 miles), Falmouth links course (3 miles), Mullion and 40 minutes away; Trevose.

Falmouth, Helford town and rural beaches are all within 5-10 minutes drive. Helford passage has a beach side pub serving food there is also a ferry service to Helford Village and along the coastline. Town beaches all have excellent facilities and direct access to restaurants for lunch and evening meals. North coast surfing beaches are from 20-30 minutes drive away. Trebah, Glendurgan and Carwinion Gardens are all within a 5 minute drive, Trelissick Gardens is 20 minutes away.

From 'Lamanva Barns' you have easy access to the bustling harbour town of Falmouth, which is home to the National Maritime Museum, sandy beaches and a large selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. The main roads to Truro (20 minutes drive) and North Cornish Coast are close at hand and to the west the Lizard peninsula, Land's End and St Ives (roughly 40 minutes drive). Trebah, Glendurgan and Carwinion Gardens are all within 5 minutes drive. THe Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are both within an hours drive.

About the owner
The Read family own both numbers 2and& 3 Lamanva Barns and live in No. 3, moving out for the summer holidays. Barn 2 has a long term winter let, to a family and is also available just for the summer holiday weeks. We pride ourselves on the fact that this means that all furniture and equipment in both barns is comfortable, homely and you have everything you need for your stay. We have three children and know from experience that there is ample room for running around and playing, both inside and out. We have lived in Lamanva for over 10 years and it is a lovely quiet area, with other families living fairly close by, but without noise, disturbance or noisy traffic.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The space around the barn is plentiful and although only a few minutes from villages and Falmouth town, you really do feel you are in the country.
Unique benefits of the property
Loads of parking space and a good sized garden for playing, barbecuing, sunbathing, eating out. Plenty of rooms inside to have space to yourselves, with good social areas in dining, kitchen and lounge. All rooms are good sizes with 5 loo's around the house, so no queuing!
