The village is ideally central, close to the South Devon coastal path and provides wonderful walks along Devon's rugged coastline. There are many activities in the area such as sailing at Salcombe and Dartmouth and the Salcombe / Kingsbridge estuary to explore and all to be enjoyed from the extreme comfort of this most attractive reverse level home. The Church House has just been converted to a very high standard from an old barn. The house has 5 bedrooms, sleep 11.

En-suite bathroom to bedroom 4, a luxury roll-top bath with shower attachment, basin, WC.
Last bathroom is with bath, shower, basin, WC.
Kitchen: Two large dining tables, smart well equipped, modern kitchen, electric double oven, electric ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freeze. An area is set aside here as a children's snug -Sky TV, video/DVD player, table, chairs and a sofa-bed.
Living Rooms: Two glass panelled staircases rise to the living areas, one to the kitchen the other to the sitting room. The sitting room is delightfully furnished with comfortable cream and duck-egg blue sofas, a widescreen TV with Sky (incl. Sky Sport), DVD, stereo.
Other: Cushioned window seats extend across the huge feature window that covers an entire wall and gives views up the village street. Low posts & chains separate the property boundaries from the road at the front. There is a paved patio area. Parking for 3 cars.

We are husband and wife and close by therefore available when needed. Other than that we keep well out of the way after meeting guests and showing them in.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We had a holiday home in this lovely area. When Church House came up for sale as a semi derelict building we decided it would be a fun and attractive project. Hence Church House was once the alms house for the village it is now a beautiful sunny all new property in a an area of outstanding natural beauty and protected coastline.

Unique benefits of the property
Church House is ideal for guests who enjoy get togethers with family and friends yet gives one privacy. The garden is a sun trap and very safe and secure for families with small children. The Milbrook Inn over the road offers good food and is a popular with youg and not so young.
