'Bridge House' is a comfortable Georgian style house on the edge of the quiet market town of Sandy, offering a peaceful riverside location yet in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs, and the mainline station to London. Bedford, Cambridge and many varied tourist attractions are within easy driving distance, and Sandy is the HQ of the RSPB, the Lodge being well worth a visit by birdwatchers and walkers alike. There are various golf courses within easy reach and the area is ideal for hikers, with the Greensand Ridge Walk running just past the door and many other footpaths alongside the River Ivel or over the Sandhills.

Excellent fishing for most coarse fish including carp, barbel, roach, dace, chub and pike. Close season applies (March 15 to June 15 inclusive). Fishing rods for guests use are in the utility room.
