This characterful accommodation has beamed ceilings with one double bedroom and one twin room. There are private gardens to the side with excellent views of Lake Windermere and Bowness below and is pleasantly situated adjacent to open fields and Brant Fell. There are plenty of walks from this tranquil location and off street parking available for those with cars. An ideal base to explore the Lake District. The property is offered with lounge with open plan kitchen diner on the first floor. Together with downstairs bedrooms and a combined bathroom and WC with shower unit. There are TVs and a washing machine.

Changeover day
Flexible - however, generally, The cottage will be available to occupy from 3pm on the day you arrive and request that it is vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
The Cottage benefits from gas central heating. This is a no smoking cottage and no pets are allowed. The cottage is situated at the top of Brantfell Road and is elevated from Bowness and although only a short stroll away from the centre the walk has an incline. It is suitable for children. Please note that a welcome pack is provided on your arrival.
Accessibility
People who have a disability may struggle with the walk from Bowness due to the gradient, however there are a number of taxi services available. There are stairs in the cottage but the property can be entered from both first and ground floors.
Outside
The property has a private garden area which is laid to lawn and has borders, shrubs and trees. This is situated to the side with enviable views over the lake. Patio furniture is provided. There is also a courtyard area.
Golf
Windermere golf course is within 2 miles of the cottage - only a 5 minute drive away.
Kendal golf course is approximately a 20 minute drive from the cottage.
Special interest holidays
Ideal for people with an interest in walking, birdwatching or rambling.
Travel
The nearest train station is Windermere only a 5 minute drive away.
The nearest main motorway junction is Junction 36 on the M6 an approximate 20 minutes drive away.
Distances
Only a short stroll to Bowness centre and Lake Windermere.

A £100 deposit is required at booking. The balance is required 4 weeks prior to your stay. £100 fully refundable damage/key deposit payable with your balance.
