Two bedroom brand new 1st floor apartment. Enjoy a gin and tonic on the terrace overlooking the fresh sea water lagoon. Built to an Arabian design, The interior is furnished to a very high standard, Arabian style. Vaulted ceiling in the bedroom, marble floor tiles throughout. 10 minutes walk from the marina and Mangroovy Beach. 2 minutes walk from the sea water lagoon, excellent for swimming and sunbathing. The bus to downtown stops outside the apartment, alternatively local taxis and tuk tuks are very cheap.5 mins drive from the USPGA golf course. Close to the horse riding school, tennis courts and El Gounas beautiful beaches. There is also the Ansanga Spa centre nearby. Hospital, pharmacy and bank facilities are in vicinity of the apartment. El Gouna is excellent for divers, kite surfing and golf and is unrivalled for year around sunshine. A great base for sightseeing within Egypt with many day tours available to Luxor and the Nile. Or just enjoy the designer boutiques.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
Lets of one month or more £190 per week. Short stays available on nightly rates, please enquire. Please note that water and electricity are payable locally approx 10 euros per person per week. We can organise local meet and greet service (taxi at the airport 25 euros each way).
Changeover day
Our changeover day is usually Friday, however this is flexible. The same applies to arrival and departure times. We will always try and accommodate you whenever possible, I know how important this is especially on your return journey.

Upon entry there is a pretty area with plants in beautiful vases. Well looked after apartment complexe with local buses and cheap taxis on your doorstep. Ideal for couples, families and friends. The apartment suits people requiring a quiet beach holiday in an upmarket resort. It is also a haven for sports enthusiasts and has some excellent restaurants at very reasonable prices.

Accessibility
Not suitable for people with mobility problems because the apartment is first floor with approx 10 steps leading up to it, although not very steep.
Outside
Lounge leads to large covered outside terrace with table and chairs. Large sea water lagoon suitable for swimming and sunbathing just outside the apartment. These apartments and villas are situated on a nice arabian style complex. They are well kept as it is mostly a residential area.
Coast/Beach
Our apartment is a 10-15 mins walk maximum from Abu Tigu marina. For the less energetic, there are local tuk tuks, or the local bus stops right outside the apartment. This bus takes you all around El Gouna and is extremely frequent and cheap. There are some nice beach bars on the beach that leads from the Marina around the coast, Mangroovy beach. El Gouna is on the Red Sea and is second to none for clear waters, diving, snorkelling and relaxing. Boat trips depart daily.
Golf
5 min drive from 18 hole USPGA golf course.
Travel
Hurghada airport is the nearest to El Gouna and is approx 45 mins drive. Taxis are in abundance at the airport. Also, for the more adventurous, Cairo airport is a five hour drive from El Gouna.Car hire is not essential for your stay in El Gouna as taxis and tuk tuk fares start from 50p for a short journey!
Distances
El Gouna is a man made, private, upmarket resort and is quite vast. It contains the marina area, where you may sip a nice glass of wine and watch the Sunseeker yachts. There are some great restaurants here, and just a 10 minute walk from home! Downtown El Gouna contains 2 banks, pharmacies, art and craft shops, outdoor cafes and an aquarium. Cobbled little streets with an Egyptian feel. Rooftop cocktails bars and many nice restaurants. Various day trips to the Nile, Cairo + Luxor are available.
Further details
Designer shops at the marina together with excellent choice of restaurants serving Italian, French and international cuisine. Very reasonable to eat out. Nice cocktail and beach bars. Kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, snorkelling, diving for beginners and advanced. Excellent reefs. Go-karting, horse riding, tennis all available in resort. Downtown El Gouna has banks, more restaurants and rooftop cocktail bars. The resort offers spa facilities in the 5 star hotels and is excellent for golf. Day trips to ancient Egypt including Nile trips, Luxor and Cairo. El Gouna is an ideal choice for a 2 centre holiday in egypt, ie a nile cruise and a week on the beach. Golfers paradise. This is a clean resort and is very well looked after, being privately run.
Booking notes
30% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking please, balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. Payment may be made by cheque or debit card, and also all major credit cards. There is a 2% charge for credit cards. Euros can be used for payment, exchange rate given at time of booking.Please note that there is a small charge for electricity and water used approx 12 euros per person payable on check out.
