Within easy walking distance of the beach, harbour, bars and restaurants, Paradise Gardens IV, which has won an international 4* Cypriot development award, is unique in its quiet and private location. This peaceful setting is ideal for getting away from it all and having a relaxing holiday, the perfect location to just lay back and recharge your batteries. The apartment is part of an intimate residential resort complex consisting of a mix of maisonettes and 4 apartment blocks. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, with 2 pools, each with shower and toilet facilities and sunbeds, this is truly paradise. The apartment has a lovely pool view, although it's far enough away to ensure your privacy & overlooks landscaped gardens and trees. The caretaker is located in the office next to the pool and can advise on problems with the complex. I also have an onsite manager for problems with the apartment.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible but weekends or Wednesdays are preferred. We need you to vacate by 10am on your departure day.

Bedrooms:
1 double bed with spacious fitted wardrobes, dressing table & stool. Bedside tables and lamps, radio/alarm clock. Has Air-Con, Ceiling fan, Wall heater, Flyscreen. Hairdryer. A small safe is fitted into the wardrobe, items are left at your own risk.
Bathrooms:
Fully tiled bathroom with bath/shower over and screen, WC and wash basin.
Kitchen:
Fully fitted including cooker, hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, crockery/cutlery, pots and pans etc. smoke alarm fitted, extinguisher and fire blanket provided. I feel I have included everything you could possibly need.
Living Rooms:
Lounge/dining room, two comfortable settees, set of coffee tables and sideboard, terrestrial TV,DVD CD/radio/Ipod system. Dining table and 4 chairs. Guide Books and maps are provided for your use.
Other:
Lounge leads directly onto a private tree shaded balcony, providing a welcome respite from the sun, a cool oasis in the heat of the day and the perfect place for those pre-dinner cocktails and alfresco eating. A table, 4 chairs and 2 sunbeds are provided.
Cleaning/Towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels (including beach towels) and linen are provided. The apartment is easily maintained and will of course be clean on arrival and cleaned after your departure.
The apartment manager lives onsite so if you have any problems she is always happy to help

About the area
Outside
This is a small and intimate complex, looking out onto trees and fields, very peaceful and quiet. 2 communal pools, each with hot shower and toilet blocks, poolside showers, sunbeds and umbrellas. Paradise Gardens certainly lives up to its name, fully landscaped and lovingly maintained. The complex is fully illuminated in the evenings.
There is ample parking just past the apartment, with shade.
This is a unique complex private and quiet, set back from the main road, yet only a short walk into the hub of Paphos centre and the harbour.
Coast/Beach
Paphos harbour and the municipal beach are both a 20 minute walk from the complex. There is a bus that picks up from the top of the complex on the left. It departs every 30 mins at 20 to and 10 past the hr & runs 8.40am until 6pm ish in winter and 11pm ish summer. It drops off/picks up nr Debenhams very close to the harbour & bar street. Or Coral bay beach and Varda beach are a short drive/bus ride away. Further afield there are many unspoilt secluded beaches for example at the Akamas Peninsula.
Golf
Paphos is the new jewel in the crown for golfers seeking golf breaks in the warmth of the eastern Mediterranean. It offers golfers challenging world class championship courses, warm hospitality and almost year round sunshine. There are Three 18 hole golf courses to choose from. Tsada Golf Club which is just 20 minutes from Paphos , 550 meters above sea level to ensure cool breezes during the summer months. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,060 meters. The Secret Valley Golf Club is 18 km east of Paphos lying within a scenic valley and offers panoramic views. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,120 meters. The Aphrodite Hills Golf Complex is a unique up-market experience The Award Winning Golf course is located near to the birthplace of Aphrodite, only 2 mins from the main Limassol-Paphos Motorway. The course is in a fantastic setting on 2 plateaux, 300m metres high. It plays to a Par 71 and measures 6,665 metres.
Skiing
You can Ski Dec to Mar on Mount Olympus in the Troodos mountains. It's about a 1 hour drive. There are 4 skilifts and several cafes/restaurants.
How to get there
Paphos airport is an easy 15 minute drive away. Car hire is available from the airport, I have details if you wish to book it is recommended if you want to see further afield. Or a taxi will cost 29 euros one way, I can book this for you. Although car hire is not essential, there are so many beautiful places to visit on the island, all within easy striking distance that we would advise it. Please contact for website addresses.
A bus runs every 30 mins from the complex to harbour.
Distances
The complex is within easy walking distance of all that Paphos has to offer. The nearest taverna is at the end of the complex (approx 50m) it has tasty food at a great price & good portions, with other bars/tavernas/restaurants a further 10 mins beyond, bar street is a further 5mins from there. The Akamas Peninsula, Aphrodites Rock and the Troodos Mountains are all within easy reach by car.
Paphos waterpark is a 5 min drive away. There is also a gocart track and crazy golf within a 5 min drive.
Further Details
A small Mini-Market, suitable for all your immediate needs is located on the corner of the access road to the complex (about 50m), there is also a small taverna next door (The Pambis Diner) mentioned above. Larger supermarkets are about a 5 min drive away as are the banks.
The house of Dionysus mosiacs and the harbour are a 20 min walk away. A 5 min drive will take you to the tomb of the kings. Aphrodite's rock and Pissouri are approx a 20 mins drive away.
Polis and Latchi with its picturesque harbour and great seafood restaurants and Aphrodite's baths are approx a 40 min drive away.
Trips to Egypt, Northern Cyprus, Crete, Rhodes and Symi can be booked at any local travel agency. As can boat trips eg glass bottom boats or fishing, scuba diving, jeep safari's and lots of other activities.
Our apartment is managed by someone on the complex, who is available if you have any queries or problems. Also there is a sales office on the complex, the caretaker works from here. Speak to him if there are any problems with the building or Complex.
Booking notes
A 25% (non-returnable) deposit is required upon booking. Refunds (less deposit) are made provided any cancellation is made more than 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Full Payment 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable key/damage charge of £100 is also required at this time. This will be returned promptly when the apartment has been checked and keys returned. We strongly recommended that Travel insurance is taken out to cover cancellation within 8 weeks, also for illness, accidents and theft etc.

About the Owner
I am married with 2 grown up children, a granddaughter who is 2 and not forgetting our two Jack Russell terriers or is that terrors!! We are both professionals who work extremely hard and as such both enjoy our holidays, its our time to recharge our batteries and spend quality time together, we have found that Paphos is the ideal place to do that. We have made many friends in Paphos and the local people are friendly and always make you feel welcome. It feels like coming home and in 3 years time when my husband finishes work we will retire to Cyprus.
Year property purchased: 2004
Why this location?
We chose Paphos for the diversity, it simply has everything. You can scuba dive, play golf, ski, waterski, paraglide, jetski, fish, sail, hike, etc etc. Paphos is a world heritage site so there is plenty for the culture vulture including the mosaics at the harbour and the tomb of the kings. The night life can be as lively or as laid back as you want it to be. We chose Paradise Gardens 4 for it's uniqueness from the majority of the other complexes. It is unique in that it is built in a straight line so does not have other properties across from you which makes it very private. We look out onto trees and fields and the gardens and one of the two pools on the complex. It is only a 15 min drive from the airport and a 15 to 20 min walk to the harbour, beach or tavernas/restaurants.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
The thing we most love about our property is being able to sit on our balcony for breakfast in pyjamas if we wanted to it's that private! Also the shade provided by the trees in summer is a godsend!! It never feels crowded around the pool and our nearest pool tends to be quieter as the second pool seems to be used more by the younger guests, it is shallower and is always in full sunshine, our pool usually has a bit of shade which suits us fine and is deeper, but you can use either pool. It is in a tranquil setting but only 15 mins from the hustle and bustle of bar street, so you can have a few drinks and walk home. The best of both worlds you could say. But probably the biggest benefit is having our manager live in the apartment below us! She's always on hand for advice/problems a godsend
