A large terrace in front of the pool which gets the sun all day and 4 balconies. 10 minutes drive from Kyrenia and its horseshoe harbour. Close to Bellapais Abbey and a short distance from various beaches.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible but please try and avoid Sundays. Sunday is still 'Sunday' in Cyprus.

Accessibility
There are 2 steps leading to the front door of the property.
Outside
There is a large garden and parking area which is walled all the way round with gates. The terrace has a large table and chairs which again can seat 6. Private 10 x 5 swimming pool surrounded by patio. There are four sunbeds with mattresses and a large parasol.
Coast/Beach
There are various beaches to choose from, but these are the 3 that we have used: Acapulco is a large hotel resort with a beach, pool and slides, it can get very busy in high season 15 mins drive. Lara beach is a small cove with a little café (my children particularly like this beach as there are lots of smooth rocks to climb on), 20 mins drive. Turtle beach is a vast expanse of sand with shallow water, ideal for small children 25 mins drive.
Travel
Ercan airport is a 45 min drive. Car hire is essential as public transport in Northern Cyprus is limited. A "4 x 4" is essential, as the access roads to the Villa have not been finished yet. If you would like any help with car hire I can arrange this for you or give you a contact email address if you would prefer to arrange it yourself. I recommend that you arrive during daylight, street lighting is limited.
Distances
10 mins drive from Kyrenia, the capital of Northern Cyprus with shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a Castle next to the harbour and the Shipwreck Museum. 5 mins drive from historical Bellapais Abbey. St. Helarion Castle is about a 30 min drive but is definitely worth a look, make sure you go early in the summer months.
Further details
There is a small supermarket ‘Happy Market’ in Ozankoy (5 min drive), although small it does stock almost everything you could possibly need and also gets fresh bread delivered daily.
Lemar is a large supermarket on the main road down to Kyrenia which sells a wide variety of food, drink and household goods. Cyrpus Today is an English Newspaper which is published every Saturday. It provides local and international news, forthcoming events, useful information and a wide range of advertising from bars and restaurants.
Booking notes
Bookings accepted by email, full residential address required. £250 deposit required to secure two week booking / £125 deposit for one week booking. Payment in full due 14 days prior to stay. £200 refundable breakage deposit required. Sorry, no all Adult Female or all Adult Male bookings accepted.
