These are family villas nestling on the tree line high above Catalkoy village with fantastic views overlooking the northern coastline of Cyprus with fabulous views to the south of the Besparmak Mountains. Each Lemon Villa & The Castle have private 10x5m overflow swimming pools, 4 Bedrooms, 3/4 bath/shower rooms, sun loungers, parasols, and a purpose built barbeques. Choose from The Castle or Lemon Villa's all are large family villa's with lots of living space comfortably sleeping 8. The kitchen and dining area is huge and fully fitted with anything you may need. The lounge area is also very spacious fully furnished with TV for DVD playing. At Lemon Villas above the lounge is a fantastic roof terrace (26sqm) which is perfect for al fresco dining or simply relaxing and taking in the views and spectacular sunsets,at The Castle each Bedroom has its own cute balcony. Patios at ground level both front and rear plus dry stone walls and wrought iron fence surrounding each villa.

The Castle is situated above the other villas giving amazing views of Kyrenia, sea and Mountains. 2 bedrooms with double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside unit and lamp. 1 room has en-suite shower. 1 bedrooms with twin beds fitted wardrobes, bedside unit and lamp, 1 bedroom with 3/4 bed fitted wardrobe and unit. En-suite shower. All bedrooms have cute balcony’s for views and air-conditioning. 2 family bathrooms (1 with bath and shower and WC, other with shower and WC. Kitchen equipment includes electric oven cooker, gas / electric hob, large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Iron/ironing board. Small breakfast table seating 4. Living room fully equipped with soft furnishings,(see photos) TV for playing DVD's. Coffee table, dining area seats 8. Bath/hand towels included. Bed linen included - exchanged weekly. Notes on accommodation
The Castle villa sleeps 7, although another bed can be added to the twin room if required/available, it is more private especially around the pool area and living areas are very spacious. The Castle villa is set higher so the views are fantastically breathtaking.
Travel cots & sheets + high chairs available on request payable locally approx £15.00 per week.
Standard use of air-con/heating is included being an average 30 electricity units per day per villa, then unit charge at current local rate in pence per unit.
Standard welcome pack provided, (tea, coffee, water, milk and sugar).
Food shopping options available payable in local currency + 10%. Airport transfers can be arranged from any airport and added to you holiday rental. Collection of rental cars can be arranged payable locally.
Accessibility
A car is recommended as the Villas are away from the main town. Most roads around villas are tarmac but final access to the Castle is via short trip through forestry land/tracks. There are access steps to most of the Villas, although the villas have a ground floor bedroom and bathroom for convenience -please email to discuss your specific requirements.
Outside
All villa's are surrounded by dry stone walls / wrought iron fencing. Have private parking areas / drives with gates. Each villas has its own sole use 10m x 5m overflow swimming pool. 2 x chimney style barbeques. Sun parasols. Patio furniture and sun beds. There may also be some floatation aids for children, please ask.
Some villas have flower / tree gardens, others are gravelled. We have a couple of small mountain bikes available for odd days for small fee for the energetic children (no helmets). There are 6 villas total to rent, so calendar is not updated with bookings until full, so please do not panic if your dates are not closed.
Coast/Beach
There are various beaches of sand and pebble all along the coast but the nearest beach is 5 kilometres so a car / taxi is recommended.
Golf
There is a recently opened golf course by Esentepe. About 20 minutes drive away from Catalkoy. There are Riding Stables in the Village for Horse Lovers or for those who would love to try but never had time.
Skiing
At Troodos mountains subject to season/weather.
Special interest holidays
There are boat & fishing trips as well as various water sports such as diving available. Some you may have to advance book.
Travel
The nearest airport is Ercan about 30 kilometres away. Larnaca Airport is 1.5 hours away and involves simple boarder crossing.
A car is recommended, you should also check the terms of your car hire for travel around the island.
Transfers can be arranged if required.
Distances
These family villas are situated on the back edge of Catalkoy village, a delightful walk (subject to heat) around the picturesque village with small supermarket, kiosk shops, cafes, papershop, bars, fruit shop and various restaurants and eating places, horse riding etc. a village with many nooks and crannies.
Further details
Catalkoy is within easy reach of Kyrenia with its delightful harbour, St Hilarion Castle and numerous roof top restaurants and shops. You can try your luck in the casino at the Oscar Hotel, visit the bustling towns of Nicosia 10 mins to the south or Famagusta in the east about 45 mins away. If you prefer your holiday to run at a slower pace, then a visit to Ballapais Abbey or to the deserted beaches to the east or maybe a visit to the Karpas Peninsula in the north east of the island, a unique totally unspoilt area.
It is now possible to travel to the south of the island to visit Paphos, Limassol, Larnaka or Ayia Napa but don't forget your passport! (subject to car rental terms).

Booking notes
A 30% deposit is taken per week of booking.
Balance being due min 6 weeks prior to your holiday.
Any cancellations are looked upon sympathetically and refunds allowed are given in full if the dates cancelled can be re-booked with another client less admin fee and any credit card fees if applicable. Damages deposit required of £250.00 per villa payable 7 days prior to arrival or upon arrival in cash...all deposits held are refunded via bank transfer less any charges within 10 days of departure.
Guest comments
The views from the castle are amazing, it has a remoteness yet is within easy reach of civilisation and required amenities, a nice relaxing holiday. Lemon Villas was just what we needed, both relaxing around villa and enjoying the tourist life.
The Villa was comfortable, bedding fresh & overall very clean we enjoyed the early morning walking best exercise for ages.
