Notes on accommodation
The bedrooms have air conditioning which provide cool air in summer months and warm air in winter months. A floor standing fan is provided in the lounge. This is a 2-storey villa with stairs leading up to the first floor from the lounge where the bedrooms and bathroom are located. Tiled floors throughout the villa are cooling in the summer months.

Amenities/Facilities provided

Outside
There is a large shared pool with a smaller pool for children 100 yards from the villa. Whilst the swimming pool is shared with the other villas on the development, it is extremely peaceful and quiet during the week and only a few people swim at the weekend. The villas are mainly a second home to Turkish residents who occasionally come and stay at weekends. We have a caretaker on site who cleans the swimming pool daily and tends to the gardens. A patio area with outdoor furniture (including 2 sun loungers) and a garden can be accessed via the kitchen/lounge. You can enjoy uninterrupted views of the sea and swimming pool whilst al fresco dining.

Coast/Beach
Esentepe is at the foot of the coastal road enjoying panoramic sea views. Alagadi (Turtle) beach is a 10 min drive. Lara beach is a beautiful natural area which is 15 mins drive. Acapulco complex with beach/large pool/water sports is 20 mins drive. Nearly all beaches are sandy and have an on site restaurant/bar facilities. For a nominal charge sun loungers and parasols can be hired.

Golf
The new Korineum Golf and Country Club is approximately a 6 minute drive from the villa. This is an 18 hole international golf resort.

Travel
Ercan airport is approx 40 mins drive to Esentepe. Larnaca in the south of the island is approx 1 hour 30 mins drive to Esentepe. Taxis can be arranged to pick up from Larnaca and cross over to North Cyprus. Flights go direct from most UK airports. Larnaca flying time is 4-5 hours. Flights to Ercan in North Cyprus go via Turkey stopping for approx 45 mins for fuel/passenger drop off thereafter onwards to Ercan. Fly time 5-6 hours. Car hire is essential to explore this beautiful island.

Distances
Esentepe village is a 15 walk up a sloping road (good for a bit of exercise!) by car however, 2 mins. Kyrenia harbour is 30 mins drive with its bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife. LEMAR Supermarket (our ASDA equivalent) is 25 mins drive. Lefkosa, (the Turkish part of Nicosia) which is the capital city is approx. 40 mins drive.

Further details
There are many restaurants and bars in Kyrenia and also on the main coastal road before your reach Kyrenia. Expect to pay on average £6 a head for a good meal including soft drinks. In the centre of Kyrenia there are ATM machines which provide both Sterling and Turkish Lira. In most shops Sterling is widely accepted as is credit cards. I am happy to organise car hire and taxi transfer from airport on your behalf. Car hire is essential in order to explore Northern Cyprus's unspoilt beaches or remote castles. Driving is on the left and roads are relatively quiet. A comprehensive information pack will be available at the villa.

Booking notes
Please contact owner. A non-refundable deposit of £100 to secure booking. Confirmation of booking will be made by email. Balance required 8 weeks before your holiday. A breakages deposit of £100 to be paid with the balance. The deposit will be returned to you, less any damages, within 14 days after your holiday. You will be met by my representative, Barbara Burton within 24 hours of your arrival. She will be your point of contact during your stay.
