Villa Vanessa is situated in Alsancak, which is 15 minutes drive away from the beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia. The villa has spectacular views of the mountains and its own private large swimming pool set in a third of an acre with a mature garden. The area is ideal for those who like a beach and poolside holiday as well as those who like to walk and explore the mountain scenery. There are lots of beaches nearby, the most popular is Escape Beach which has watersports including scuba diving. The area is totally unspolit and very beautiful. You can hire either quad bikes or 4wd jeeps to go exploring. There are various bars and restaurants within walking distance and many with breathtaking sea views where you can watch the sun go down. There are 8 sunbeds, mattresses and umbrellas for use around the pool.

Cutomers are advised to book early for school holiday periods as these weeks go really quickly. 10% Discount for returning Guests. Bookings now being taken for 2009, at 2008 prices.
Changeover day
Changeover day normally at the weekend but can be flexible depending on bookings. Please contact owner for further details.
We kindly ask that on day of leaving you vacate the villa by 11.00am. Guests may check in from 3.00pm onwards.

The living room has a 3 seater and a 2 seater sofa A large dining table which seats 6 people. An open fireplace. All rooms are air conditioned to blow hot or cold air. There is a radio/CD player, Satelite TV, DVD Player, and a selection of DVDs.

All rooms are furnished with ample storage. The villa benefits from white aluminium shutters to all doors and windows .We have had Patio doors fitted to the Lounge/dining area, to access the pool without typically having to go through the bedrooms. |
Cleaning/towels/

Hand and bath towels provided with bedlinen. The villa is cleaned before each new arrival. Clean towels and bedlinen weekly and a weekly cleaning service is provided for 2 or 3 week lets. Guests should bring their own beach/pool towels. |

Outside
The villa is very spacious inside and sits on a third of an acre plot. The swimming pool is private with excellent views of the mountain. The size of the pool is 12m x 4m and can be illumined at night. There is a large upstairs terrace which has its own barbecue and dining table, again with great views of the mountain. There are 8 sunbeds, parasols and tables for use around the pool. The front terrace downstairs has a dining table and seating for 8 people. There is also a terrace around the back by the pool with seating for 8 people.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 15 minutes walk away. Escape beach which is very popular is a 2/3 minute drive away. There are many beautiful beaches available on the drive to Kyrenia. East of Kyrenia the beaches are mostly free, remote and less populated.
Golf
The nearest golf course is Guzelyurt which is a 35 minute drive. This course is a pay and play basis however the rates are reasonable. There is a further golf course at Esenteppe which is about an hour's drive.
Skiing
Troodos mountain offers skiing in the winter months in South Cyprus. The south is now fully accessible for tourists and residents of the TRNC. There is a small surcharge payable at the border for vehicles registered in the North. For detailed skiing information see Republic of Cyprus (South Cyprus).
Travel
The Villa is 40 mins from Ecran airport. We can arrange transfers for you the cost is approx £30 each way. A hire car is recommended to fully explore the island. Public transport is cheap and easy to use.
Distances
10 minutes walk into the centre of Alsancak. A 15 minute drive to Kyrenia, and a 30 minute drive to Nicosia. Escape beach is a 2-3 minute drive. The local supermarket is a 3 minute walk.
Further details
Climate: North Cyprus has over 300 days of sunshine a year. The temperatures can reach into the 70s well into December and as early as February. April and May are as hot as our British summers. June, July and August are the hottest months while September and October are still warm about 80 degrees, but with cooler evenings.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £125 per week is payable at time of booking and the full balance is due 8 weeks before departure.
Cancellations: within 12 weeks refund if cancelled week(s) can be relet at full tariff.
