Old village house built 1886, with spectacular panoramic views of the mountains, the village, the famous 12th century Abbey of Bellapais, the sea and Kyrenia harbour. The mountains of mainland Turkey can usually be seen during the sunset from the 40 foot sun terrace perched at the top of the house.

Linen and towels are provided. The Maid cleans and prepares the villa, beds are made up and a welcome pack provided for guests arrival. Cot can be provided. |
Notes on accommodation
The bedrooms are on the ground floor and the sitting room and kitchen are upstairs where they open out on to the sun terrace. I do not consider the villa very safe for small children that may climb on the surrounding wall of the terrace which is high. A large fireplace with supply of logs and electric radiators for the cooler months.

Outside
Small walled garden with fruit trees.
Dining table and chairs, various loungers and comfortable chairs on the sun terrace. Half the terrace is shaded in the hotter months.

3 miles to the coast and beaches.
Travel
Ercan airport is about 35 minutes away by car.
Larnaca is about 1 hour.
Car hire is recommended.

Kyrenia is 3 miles away. Nicosia approx 22 miles. Salamis approx 30 miles, Karpas 50 miles.
Further details
Bellapais has a good selection of restaurants, small village shop and supermarket 3 miles away. Banks and money changers in Kyrenia.
