Villa Jandabar is a beautifully presented and tastefully furnished private villa. To ensure your comfort all the bedrooms have air conditioning. The terrace has a pleasant shaded area, poolside parasols and sun beds where you can relax and enjoy the mountain views. It is set in a peaceful location, below the beautiful Besparmak mountain range, upon which nestles the nightly illuminated medieval Bellapais Monastery. There are good restaurants within walking distance and many just a short drive away. Those within the local village of Ozankoy, boast a wide variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. The area is well served with a choice of 3 local supermarkets, and an outdoor market in Kyrenia town on a Wednesday. As well as the beaches, local places of interest include Kyrenia Castle and harbour, Bellapais Abbey, Hilarion Castle and Buffavento Castle. Further afield are the beautiful Karpas Peninsula, Kantara castle, St Barnabus Church and Archaelogical sites of Salamis and Enkomi.

Changeover day
Mainly Saturday, but can be flexible dependant on bookings. Vacating and arrival times again can be flexible, dependant on bookings
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Master bedroom, with en suite facilities and a built-in safe and terrace. The twin bedrooms have shared bathroom facilities one with double patio doors leading to a smaller terrace. All with wrought iron furniture, fitted wardrobes and air conditioning |
| Bathrooms: | En-suite to double bedroom with shower and wc. First floor bathroom with bath/shower/wc. Ground floor shower and wc. |
| Kitchen: | Leading from the dining area is the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven/hob, toaster and panini maker. It is also equipped with a juicer and water cooler. |
| Living Rooms: | The ground floor is open plan comprising of a lounge, beautifully furnished where you can relax and use the DVD and CD facility, leading into the dining area with a large table comfortably seating 8 people. This is the main access to the 8x4 metre pool. |
| Other: | At the front of the villa a smaller room opens onto the front patio, which can either be used as an additional retreat or optional sleeping area as it contains a double bedsettee. There is also a walk in shower, toilet and washbasin on this floor. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen and towels are provided, for indoor use only. Please provide your own towels for the pool area. The property is cleaned before arrival and a change of linen is made available. |
Notes on accommodation
Tiled throughout, with air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms, ceiling fans in the living rooms and three mobile fans to be used where and when required; all provided to ensure your comfort. two hair dryers are provided for your use.
A travel cot is provided if necessary.
Children should be supervised at all times, because of the obvious dangers that are encountered with swimming pools and balconies.
Please note we have a no smoking and no pets policy.
We provide a welcome pack on arrival.

Outside
Poolside parasols and sun loungers are provided for your relaxation in the sunshine but you may prefer to utilise the pleasant shaded sitting area overlooking the 8m x 4m pool, which is cleaned twice a week in high season. All outside areas (including submerged pool lights) are subtly and romantically lit for the ultimate holiday atmosphere.
If you want to eat alfresco there is a barbecue area and outdoor furniture, set amidst a pleasant garden atmosphere.
Please note we do not provide towels for the pool, please bring your own. A wrought iron fence and three gates have been fitted around the villa to make the pool area safer for children. Please be aware though that children can climb and must be supervised at all times.
Coast/Beach
The coast road is only a 2 minute drive.
The small sandy cove of Diana beach, at Catalcoy is only 5 minutes away. Facilities include sun loungers, picnic tables, toilets, showers and a licensed snack bar.
A 10 minute drive brings you to the conservation Turtle beach at Alagadi, Driving 50 minutes East brings you to the small unspoilt beach of Talitsu. Sun beds and pedallos can be hired. The horseshoe bay of Kaplica is a further 5 minute drive away, this is a good safe bathing beach.
Golf
A newly opened,18 hole, international golf course has been built at Esenteppe (20 minutes drive away).
Qualified diving instruction, paragliding, Sea fishing, boat excursions and horse riding are all available locally.

Springtime is a lovely time to visit, orchid walks, bird watching and rambling all pleasant pastimes.
Archaelogical sites and castles, including the imposing Kantara castle, the fairytale castle of St Hillarion, Buffavento, and Kyrenia castle, famous for its ancient shipwreck and the romantic Bellapais Abbey.
Pleasant beaches, including turtle beach, here Loggerhead and Green Back turtles can be found nesting in July and August.
Qualified diving tuition and other water sports are available at Escape Beach, which is approximately a 30 minute drive West near Alsansak.
Travel
Ercan airport is approximately a 30 minute drive away.
You can fly into Larnaca, which is approx one and a half to two hour transfer, we would be happy to arrange for a taxi for transfer to the villa.
We would recommend hiring a car to facilitate your enjoyment.
All driving is on the left hand side.
Distances
Our villa is situated in a conveniently central position, 5 minutes from the village of Ozonkoy, 10 minutes from the town, harbour and castle of Kyrenia, where there are shops, banks and plenty of bars and restaurants.
The nearest beach is 5 minutes drive away.
St Hillarion Castle and Bellapais 15 minutes, is a gem by day or night.
Further afield, places of interest include the beautiful Karpas Peninsula, Kantara castle, St Barnabus church, and archaelogical sites of Salamis and Enkomi.

There is a good selection of local restaurants. Here are just a few we recommend-
Erdener Restaurant on the main road to Kyrenia is recommended for its traditional Turkish fare, Mezzes etc.
Errols one of many in the local village of Ozankoy has a good selection of Turkish and English food.
If you are visiting the market, try Muharrem’s restaurant and bar, we recommend the pitta breads with various fillings (cheese and lamb are very good at very reasonable prices.) Take main road through Kyrenia and first turning on left after Arcelik.
Niazis, facing the Dome Hotel in Kyrenia, is famous for its Kebabs.
Kyrenia town boasts a castle 'well worth a visit', and an old harbour where fishing and boat trips can be booked and where there are many bars and restaurants in a lovely atmospheric setting.
If you are visiting in July and August, the turtle project at Alagadi beach has to be a firm favourite.
Booking notes
20% of the rental fee is payable on booking, balance due 8 weeks prior to the rental.
For bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to the holiday, total payment is required on booking.
Refundable Bond - a refundable bond is required per booking of £150, this is to cover any breakages or damage that may be incurred during your stay. This will be refunded within two weeks. Cancellation charges:
up to 8 weeks - deposit.
up to 4 weeks - 50% of total.
4-0 weeks - total cost is required.
