A stunning feature of Serendipity, a duplex villa, is the magnificent views of the mountains, from every aspect. This spacious villa is situated in a quiet residential area, within its own walled garden, set amongst mature olive trees. The view from the private pool terrace looks up to the Crusader Castle, St. Hilarion, which is floodlit at night. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and with French windows opening onto the balcony overlooking the secluded pool terrace. The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has fireplace, TV for DVD, CD and a collection of books and games. As of April 2008, the villa has a private well ensuring a reliable water supply.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. These are well furnished and both have spacious fitted wardrobes, a hand-held hairdryer and air conditioning for summer comfort. |
| Bathrooms: | Each bedroom has private en suite shower room with wc, basin and shower. Separate guest wc with wash hand basin. |
| Kitchen: | Fully equipped kitchen/diner with pine table and chairs, dishwasher, cooker with gas hob/electric oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee percolator, toaster and juicer. |
| Living Rooms: | Large spacious lounge comfortably furnished with 3-seater and 2-seater sofas and 2 armchairs. TV/DVD unit, coffee tables and a fireplace for log-fires for the winter evenings. French windows lead onto the pergola terrace. |
| Other: | Through the front door is a large, cool entrance hall with stairs to the bedrooms and steps down to the lower floor. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen and towels are provided and changed weekly. Visitors are welcome to use the washing machine. The villa is cleaned before guests arrive and bed linen and towels are changed weekly. A "Welcome Pack" is provided. |
Notes on accommodation
Both bedrooms have air conditioning. The Kitchen has two 2-speed ceiling fans and there is a 3-speed pedestal fan in the lounge. This could also be used in a bedroom for those who dislike air conditioning. For the winter there is a fireplace in the lounge and a mobile calor gas heater. The bedroom air conditioners also provide heating. Guests are requested not to smoke inside the Villa.

Outside
Serendipity Villa, with off-road parking, is set amongst mature olive trees within it’s own walled garden with a very private 7m X 4m swimming pool with underwater lighting. There is a large patio, with 4 sunloungers and parasol umbrellas, and a lovely shaded pergola, with table and chairs for outdoor meals or simply to sit and enjoy the views. A BBQ is situated on the pool terrace.
Coast/Beach
The sea is just an 8 minute walk away. Along this part of the coast there are many beach bars and some excellent restaurants. The sandy beach at Kervansary is only minutes away by car and there are several good swimming beaches within a 20 min car journey going westwards along the coast. There are very good beaches going eastward to Tatlisu and Kaplica, below Kantara Castle on the Beshparmak Mountains. The famous sandy beaches near Famagusta and the Karpaz are all accessible by car.
Golf
Korineum Golf and Country Club 18 hole, international standard golf course is just 30 mins by car.
Travel
2 airports serve the north of the island. Ercan is a 45 mins drive away and Larnaca in the south is a 90 min journey. Through our local agent, we can arrange transfer by taxi and car hire. Car hire is recommended in order to explore the north of the island with its many and varied sites of interest as well as the stunning scenery. Note that hire cars are not yet permitted to cross the border to the south and vice versa; cars hired in the south cannot cross to the north.
Distances
The village of Karaoglanoglu is less than a mile away and the main town of Kyrenia, with its picturesque old harbour is 4 miles away. The Crusader Castles of St. Hilarion, Bufavento and Kantara are all within an hour's drive, as are the ancient sites of Soli and Vouni near Guzelyurt. The walled city of Lefkosa (Nicosia) is only 30 mins away by car and it is now possible to cross into the South through the newly opened Ledra Street crossing. Famagusta and the Karpaz are well worth a visit.
Further details
Within walking distance are shops, bank, bars and restaurants. The shops include a supermarket which has a bakery and stocks a good range of English products.

A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure.

Serendipity certainly lives up to its name because the setting is idyllic and peaceful. The facilities in the villa are wonderful! The pool, the pergola to 'eat alfresco' in the cool shade, the barbecue that can make a good cook out of anybody - everything you need to make your holiday special. Thank you. We got back last night from a wonderful 2 weeks in N Cyprus made even better by the knowledge that we had a great villa to come back to each evening. We thought the villa was very well equipped.
