Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair users as it is a first floor apartment - though the accommodation is laid out on one floor with tiled flooring in every room.
Outside
2 balconies with patio furniture to seat 4 with sun loungers. First of three communal swimming pools now finished. Small local supermarket and walkable, very reasonably priced local friendly restaurant.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes drive to nearest beaches of Acapulco, Alagadi, Turtle Beach, Lara Beach and the modern Vogue Beach most with beachside restaurants.
Golf
Very new up market golf course at Essentepe 15 mins drive from apartment with stunning views of the Mediterranean Now all 18 holes open. Instruction available at reasonable rates. Please ask owner about further details.
Special interest holidays
Springtime offers rare orchid and wild flowers. Plentiful walks available all year round. Cycling available too. Windsurfing/water skiing/sailing/canoeing/scuba diving all available. Watch turtles being born in Turtle Bay. Many historical sites easily reached by car.
Travel
One hour trip to/from Larnaca Airport in Southern Cyprus and 20 minutes from Ercan Airport (Northern Cyprus). Now Easyjet from London/Manchester to Paphos - very cheap flights. Collection to/from airport can be arranged as can hire car from airport/apartment. Advice how to find cheapest fares.
Distances
Short walk into authentic rustic village of Arakpoy with local supermarket and superb, inexpensive restaurant. 15 minutes drive to beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne), 15 minutes to new golf course.
Further details
Taxis are very very inexpensive and plenty of restaurants in nearby Kyrenia which has multitude of shops of all descriptions. Newly opened rustic village restaurant in Arakpoy 10 minutes walk from apartment. Many restaurants available within 2/3 minutes drive. The local people are very friendly and family orientated.
Booking notes
Please phone/email. 20% deposit required at time of booking, balance being paid 8 weeks before departure and £100 deposit which is completely refundable if the apartment is left as it was found. Cancellations before 8 weeks of travel will see the deposit returned. Cancellation within 8 weeks of departure, will incur a small penalty.
