Living Area

This 2nd floor, airy,stylish studio with twin beds & double sofabed is furnished and equipped to a high standard, is air conditioned with views over the shared pool, gardens and the ancient ruins of St Paul's Pillar. Whilst in a quiet location, it has the advantage of being within easy walking distance to the many shops, bars, banks, restaurants, beaches and the enchanting harbour and castle areas. The studio is an ideal base from which to visit and explore the historic sites of Paphos and to experience the sophistication of the harbour restaurants and/or the lively night life of Bar Street. A bus ride will take you to Paphos Town market, Vardas Beach and Coral Bay. By car you can visit Polis and Latchi, famous for wonderful seafood restaurants, the Akamas Peninsular (an area of outstanding natural beauty with breathtaking gorges), the birthplace of Aphrodite, other historical sites, monasteries and churches, or explore the numerous picturesque villages in the Troodos Mountains.

Prices shown are per week in UK Pounds.
Please contact to discuss discount availability for rental periods in excess of 2 weeks for off peak and for long term winter rates. 10 day bookings can be accommodated depending on availability.

Changeover day
Flexible. We would ask you to vacate the studio by midday on the day of departure, however, depending on the arrival time/date of the next client, this could be flexible if you have a late flight.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
We would request that you do not smoke inside the studio. Please bring your own beach towels. Air conditioner provides heat in the winter months, together with an electric radiator. We can arrange a welcome pack for your arrival on request. Our local representative will be on hand to assist with any problems you may encounter. There is a selection of guide books, maps and personal recommendations for good places to dine included in the Information folder provided. A scrabble game and a set of playing cards is provided for your use.

Amenities/Facilities provided

 

Outside
Balcony with table and chairs overlooking shared infinity pool and a site of archaeological interest, the ancient ruins of St Paul's Pillar. The balcony benefits from the morning sun, an ideal spot to enjoy breakfast. A clothes airer is also provided. The large shared pool has WC and shower facilities, together with the free use of sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a poolside bar and restaurant which is open during the day and into the evening.

Coast/Beach
The harbour and beach areas are within a 2 min walk from the studio, but if you feel a bit more adventurous, Coral Bay, with plenty of water sports and fabulous beaches, is a 20 min/10km drive by car or bus. Vardas beach is between Paphos and Coral Bay, it has a grassy area with free sunbeds, showers, a taverna and a small bay for swimming. There is a regular bus service to/from Paphos Old Town (market) and Coral Bay from the harbour.

Golf
There are 3 top quality world class 18 hole golf courses par 72 to choose from in the Paphos area which are open all year round. Set in unique and stunning scenery, the Secret Valley and Tsada golf courses are approx 20 mins by car and the new Aphrodite Hills is approx a 30 min drive.

Skiing
Skiing is available between January and March at Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains, approx a one hour drive from Paphos. There are four ski lifts and several bars/restaurants. The views are spectacular. You can be skiing in the snow in the morning and sunbathing on the beach in the afternoon.

Travel
The studio is approx 20 mins from Paphos airport. We can offer airport collection from Paphos airport by a reliable local taxi driver with reasonable rates (payable locally) who will take you straight to the studio. Beware the airport taxis who may overcharge and not know where to take you! Larnaca airport is approx an hour and a half from the studio.

Distances
Driving times from Paphos to Limassol is approx 45 mins, to Larnaca approx an hour and a half and approx 2 hours to Nicosia. Car rental is not essential for this property, but recommended if you wish to explore Cyprus. We can arrange local car rental for you at reasonable rates (min 3 days) which can be left for your collection at the airport on arrival.

Further details
For your daily supply of fresh bread, milk etc., Papantoniou (Tesco style supermarket) is just a minute's walk from the studio. It has a great food hall with fresh fruit and vegetables and will cater for all your needs for food, clothes, shoes and souvenirs.

Kato Paphos springs to life at night, and within a short walking distance there is a whole host of mouth watering restaurants from traditional Cypriot tavernas to international restaurants offering Italian, Chinese, Indian, French and English cuisine. Not to mention Bar Street with its many clubs and bars.

Paphos also offers a water park, bird park, snake farm, horseriding, aquarium, boat and catamaran trips, fishing trips, go-carting and watersports, to name a few.

The port of Limassol also offers 3-5 day cruises to the Greek Islands and Egypt.

There is also an inexpensive shared taxi service connecting Paphos - Limassol - Larnaca - Nicosia. Alternatively our local taxi driver can be hired for the day at reasonable rates to take you where you want to go, or let him take you on a mystery tour showing you the many beautiful sites of Cyprus.

Booking notes
A non refundable £50 per week deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance will be payable six weeks before arrival, together with a security deposit of £100. The security deposit will be refunded promptly once the studio has been checked less the cost of any damage to property, furnishings or extra cleaning requirements.
