On the first floor, it has a secluded balcony with sundrenched and shaded areas that overlooks the pools and gardens. Just 5 mins walk (500m) from restaurants and supermarkets. The seafront and harbour are 10 mins away so you can have a busy nightlife or relax peacefully. Just 20 minutes drive from Paphos airport. The Island of Cyprus has something for everyone: sunsoaked beaches; crystal clear waters and an average of 340 days sunshine a year. 3 Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive. It is the birthplace of Aphrodite and has many interesting historical sites. There are wonderful places you can walk or look for birds and flowers - the Nature Reserve on the Akamas Peninsular, or the Troodos Mountains, where it snows from January to March and you can ski!

Outside
Large secluded sundrenched balcony overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens, swimming and paddling pools. Iron railings up to a height of approximately 1 metre on first floor so parental supervision is recommended for young children. Patio chairs and table for four. Main pool is 1.1m to 2.5m deep.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is the seafront at Paphos which is 10 minutes walk (800m) from the apartment. A short drive/bus journey away is Coral Bay Beach with its golden sands. There are numerous secluded sandy bays within 15 minutes drive. Further afield are the unspoilt beaches of Cyprus's Nature Reserve on the Akamas Peninsular. The crystal clear waters are excellent for Snorkelling and Scuba Diving. Windsurfing is particularly good around Limassol and Lady's Mile Beach.

Golf
3 top quality 18 hole courses within easy driving are open all year round: Tsada - par 72 - In unique and stunning scenery, perched 1800 feet into the foothills of the Troodos Mountains; Secret Valley - par 72 - Hidden from view amidst dramatic sculptural rock formations and dense forest; Aphrodite - par 71 - On two high plateaus with stunning views of the sea, it also has good practice facilities with driving range, excellent clubhouse & pro shop.

Skiing
Skiing is usually available between January and March in the Troodos Mountains which are 1952m high at Mount Olympus, one hours drive from Paphos. A small resort, there are 4 ski lifts and several restaurant/cafes for refreshments. Several cross country trails. Equipment can be rented from Sun Valley.

Travel
Paphos Airport is just 20 minutes drive from Paradise. Taxi costs approx 30 Euros. Car hire is not essential but recommended if you want to explore more of Cyprus. You can hire these at the airport but to be sure of a car it is best to book prior to your trip. Alternatively, Lanarka Airport is approx 2 hours away.

Distances
The delightful harbour and medieval fort of Paphos are approx 20 minutes walk (1.5km) from the apartment.
The picturesque trails of Troodos Mountains or the rugged beauty of the Akamas Peninsula are within 60 mins drive.
Limassol, the largest seaside resort is an hours drive. Nicosia, the capital lies at the centre of Cyprus, and Larnaka are both approx 2 hours drive away.
Trips can be arranged by the Tourist Information Office to Egypt, Rhodes and Symi.

Further details
The nearest supermarket and restaurants are just 5 mins walk (500 m) from the apartment. All traditional shops, banks and the Tourist Information Office are on the seafront at Paphos, just 10 mins walk (800m)away.
There are many interesting historical sites on the Island -the Tombs of the Kings, the House of Dionysus and Aphrodites Rock are in Paphos itself.

Booking notes
A 50% non-returnable deposit is payable on booking with the balance due 6 weeks before start of holiday. If cancellation less than 6 weeks beforehand, the whole amount will be due. A returnable deposit is also required to cover any breakages, etc. We do not provide any form of travel insurance cover and recommend that you take out your own travel insurance.

Hi, We are Clare and Rosie. We have been great friends for over 17 years and approx 8 years ago decided to buy our first overseas apartment together. Clare lives in Hampshire and Rosie lives with her husband and son in the New Forest. As we both work in a customer facing environment, we know how important it is to give excellent customer service and we like to make sure that we give excellent service to our guests too. We try to think of everything you might ask and include answers in our website or emails that we send. We also try to include anything you might need in our apartments so that we make your holiday as wonderful as we can.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We picked Paradise Gardens (1) to view apartments in because it won the Homes Overseas Silver Award for its design where the small and exclusive complex of apartments are built around a central pool and gardens. We fell in love with our apartment the moment we walked into the lounge and saw the wonderful view of the beautiful gardens and pool. Our balcony is secluded and gives brilliant sunshine or restful shade, depending on the time of day.

Unique benefits of the property
Its in a brilliant position. When you are in the gardens, you feel you are hidden away in your own little paradise. And then just 500m away you have access to the restaurants and shops of Paphos with a fantastic choice of places to eat. In addition to all that we have told you in our advert, we have a wonderful man called Norman who looks after the apartment for us and will always be at the end of the phone should you need him.
