Sunrise Beach Club is a luxury beachfront complex,100m from the sea & stunning views of the Med.sea.The apartment is on a complex sharing 3 large communal free-form pools & a children’s pool. It has an excellent bar/restaurant,a gym & a Wellness & Serenity Spa with a wide range of beauty & therapeutic treatments,all set in landscaped gardens.The spacious apartment has marble flooring throughout the well-equipped kitchen & the large lounge which has comfortable seating with TV,DVD & CD player.Off from the lounge is a large sea facing balcony,furnished with patio furniture & overlooking all pools. It has a master double bedroom with en-suite & a twin bedded 2nd bedroom. The air/con units also act as heaters in the cooler season. It has been furnished to high standards. Bogaz, the local village, is a beautiful coastal fishing village with a supermarket, bars & many restaurants offering the catch of the day & is well situated to explore the area. English is spoken & driving is on the left.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine, plus kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, blender, cutlery, crockery & usual useful kitchen implements & gadgets. Marble floor throughout.
Living Rooms: Large open plan lounge with sofa/two armchairs,DVD/CD player & TV (only for use with the DVD/CD player) & panoramic sliding doors to the balcony. Adjoining to this is the dining area with dining table & chairs to seat 4 people. Marble floor throughout.

Notes on accommodation
Suitable for children and a travel cot and booster highchair are available on request. The air-conditioning units throughout the apartment also act as heaters in the cooler months. There is a welcome pack available which the management office can provide at an additional cost of £25 if you wish to order this for your arrival. This contains 1 x loaf of Sliced bread, 1 x packet of Cyprus Cheese, 8 x pats of Butter, 8 x tea sachets, 8 x Coffee sachets, 8 x sugar sachets, 1 x carton of UHT milk, 1 x packet of Cornflakes, 1 x bottle of water, 1 x carton of orange juice and seasonal fruit (typically 3 x bananas, 3 x apples and 3 x oranges). Please email before your 2nd payment if you wish to order this.

Accessibility
Whilst the apartment is suitable for the elderly, it is on the first floor with three flights of stairs, though each flight is only with approx 8 steps on each flight, to approach it.

Outside
Own close by car parking space with entry phone to apartment and ample car parking spaces around. Communal free-form, overflow swimming pools have patio areas with sun loungers and umbrellas. Landscaped gardens throughout and an on-site bar/restaurant provides pool-side drinks as well as breakfast, light snacks and meals at lunchtime and a full menu for evening meals. A sauna and gym are available for your use on-site. The spa offers massage, reflexology & such like as well as your usual beauty treatments. It is only 100m to it's own basic beach for swimming and exploring only and is also soon to be improved for relaxing on. There is 24 hour security on site with the management office there to give help and advice.

Coast/Beach
Bogaz & it's coast (approx 2 miles) has a choice of beaches offering restaurant facilities, sun loungers, umbrellas & water sports. The sea is very warm with temperatures of 25 Degrees Centigrade even in November, warm all year round for swimming. Although our beach is basic & suitable for exploring the rocks etc, it is fine for swimming in the sea & seeing the occasional turtle. It is only anything between a 15 mins drive up to a 45 mins drive to find a kept beach for visiting for the day.

Golf
There is a golf course further north of island.

Special interest holidays
Scuba Diving is available. The clear, warm waters off the coast are very popular with scuba divers as there are some 20 sites, all providing excellent visibility, to witness an abundance of coral & marine life: stings rays, amberjacks, scorpions, bream, grouper, cuckoo, octopus, moray eel & the occasional turtle. Among the many wrecks to be explored is the world's oldest-known shipwreck, dating back 2,300 years. The diving season lasts nominally from April to December; even in November the water temperature is 25 degrees Centigrade. At the tip of the peninsula is Turtle Beach which is 3 miles of sandy beaches & it is only open 9am-5pm during the summer months as the turtles come ashore at night to lay eggs. Overnight stays can be booked to watch them. There are many ancient historical sites to see such as The Salamis Ruins, 12th century BC, 6 miles North of Famagusta.

Travel
Sunrise Beach Club is reached via Erchan airport in Northern Cyprus which is approx. a 40-45 mins. drive away. Alternatively,you can fly to Larnaca in Southern Cyprus & drive across the border. This is approx 60 mins.to Sunrise Beach Club. Car hire is recommended if you wish to explore as the complex is on the outskirts of Bogaz. Taxis are available easily from the office to supermarkets etc or we can arrange your car hire &/or airport transfers at an extra cost when you book the apartment.

Distances
Bogaz 2 miles (3km). Famagusta 13 miles (25km). Kyrenia (Girne) 50 miles (80km).

Car hire: available daily (minimum of 3 days) or weekly which can be booked on site at the Management office. A hire car can be collected at Erchan airport on arrival or delivered to the apartment. To rent a car in Northern Cyprus, you need a driving licence or International Driving Permit.
The Wellness & Serenity spa offers different physical and spiritual therapies & treatments to suit a wide range of clients using high tech equipment. It also offers all the usual beauty treatments on site as well as a sauna & a small gym. We can offer weekend packages if required to use these services.

Booking notes
A deposit of 50% of the total accommodation hire cost is required on booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. On Payment of balance, we also require a returnable damage/breakage/key deposit, refundable if no breakages or damages within 7 days of departure.
