The bungalow is in a beautiful location in the hills behind Peyia (10 minutes drive) and Coral Bay (12 minutes drive). Views across the hills and the Mediterranean sea. Akoursos village is a small agricultural village, with one taverna, and about 15 houses. The modern bungalow sleeps 4 persons in 2 double bedrooms, has 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen and lounge/dining room. It is furnished to a high standard with leather sofas and quality soft furnishings. Complete set of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. Full air conditioning in all rooms and heaters for winter. Satellite TV with 14 English channels and many in other languages. Garden with fruit trees. Restaurants, pubs, night clubs, internet cafes, banks, shops in Coral Bay which is 15 minutes drive, restaurants, supermarkets in Peyia and Kathikas, 10 minutes drive. Ideal location for walking and mountain bike riding (bike hires can be arranged). The property has been booked for 12 months from 1st August 2008 to 31st July 2009.

Notes on accommodation
Accommodation will appeal to those who prefer a quiet country environment. Property is in a residential area, no other tourist accommodation nearby, cul de sac, no traffic, beautiful area for walking and cycling. There is a small taverna in the village, opens when you ask. Low accommodation rates, as there is no pool. (Shower in garden). Excellent air-conditioning and heating. House is furnished to a high standard and comfortable even in a cold winter. Car essential.

Accessibility
Bungalow itself is wheelchair friendly, but there are 6 steps from the garden gate up to the veranda and front door. Would need 2 persons to lift a wheelchair up these steps.
Outside
Garden with fruit trees. Veranda with large table and 4 chairs overlooking the hills and sea (can be moved into shady garden if tenant prefers). Beach umbrellas.
Coast/Beach
10 mins drive to Banana Bay beach, 15 mins drive to Coral Bay beach (Blue Flag ) . 25 min drive to Arkamas Nature reserve beaches - a most beautiful reserve with no buildings, no paved roads, only dirt tracks and private swimming areas. 45 mins drive to Latchi/Polis beaches. 2hrs drive to beaches in Northern Cyprus (Kyrenia).
Golf
Three golf courses within 30klms.
Skiing
Skiing in Troodos mountains in January/February about 2 hours drive from bungalow. All equipment can be rented at very reasonable cost.
Special interest holidays
Area is ideal for mountain bike cycling and walking. Professionally arranged mountain bike cycling trips can be arranged or bikes hired by the week and kept at the bungalow. Walking trips can be arranged with an experienced guide at a reasonable cost. Professional courses in Mosaic tile laying.
Travel
Paphos airport 28km /45 mins. Larnaca airport 2 hours
Car is essential. Car hire introductions are available.
Distances
Coral Bay 7km with supermarket, restaurants, internet cafe, beaches, ATMs and banks. Peyia 4km with supermarket, restaurants, AM's and banks. Kathikas 5km with restaurants. Arkamas 10km is a Nature Reserve and has wild unspoilt beaches. Bird and Animal Park 10 kms on way to Arkamas. Paphos 18km with Water Park, ancient castle, harbour and seafront, archaeological sites, shops and restaurants. Two hours drive to Kyrenia and Salamis (Ancient Roman ruins) in North Cyprus .

Excellent restaurants within 15 mins drive of the bungalow. We can introduce visitors to a local car hire firm who will deliver vehicle to Paphos airport. Outdoor water sports at Coral Bay including PADI rated scuba diving. Motor boats, sailing, kayaks and snorkeling at Coral Bay and Latchi. Glass bottom boats at Latchi and sea trips to Arkamas with lunch. Professionally arranged mountain bike cycling trips. Walking trips with an experienced guide. Beach Buggy, motorcycle and car rentals in Coral Bay. Professional courses in building mosaics (pictures, tables etc).
Tours or self drive trips to North Cyprus including panhandle with wild donkeys, and Roman ruins at Salamis on the way (advice given). A telephone and internet can be arranged in the bungalow for rentals over 2 months, at extra cost. Welcome packs can be arranged, imagine cold wine and beer on arrival.
