Recently finishedand luxuriously appointed, Villa Miya is roomy, fully air conditioned and has a large private pool. Based in the rural, coastal village of Mandria, it is just 5 minutes drive from the airport. The 2 tavernas and unspoilt beaches are a gentle 10 minute stroll away. Villa Miya has a large, open plan living and dining area on the ground floor with fully fitted Italian kitchen. There is a WC off the spacious entrance hall. The living room has TV, Sky, DVD player and CD music system and has a feature fireplace. Double patio doors lead out to the large, paved poolside area. All windows and patio doors are fitted with fly screens. The private garden has gates to both sides, Mediterranean shrubs to all borders and BBQ. The master bedroom has a king size bed with shower room accessed through the en-suite dressing room and balcony over-looking the pool. 10% discount if booking start date is in excess of 6 months away.
50% discount for bookings in excess of 3 months duration.

Changeover day
Change-over days are flexible but guests are required to vacate at 10:00am. Arrival time is after 15:00pm. If possible, these times may be flexible depending on circumstances ONLY by prior arrangement.

Notes on accommodation
There are no extra costs. Air-con, electricity and water are included. A welcome pack of water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread and fruit juice is also included.
Each bedroom has its own air-con unit with the main unit being in the main living area. Air-con units also provide heat if required. Villa Miya is a no smoking villa.

Accessibility
We regret that Villa Miya is unsuitable for those with impaired mobility.
Outside
8x4m private pool with Roman steps and tiled poolside/patio. 6 sunloungers, table with parasol and chairs for 8 under a pergola and 2, free-standing parasols. Large, chimneyed, stone barbeque. Fencing and side gates for privacy and security. Garden area planted with native Mediterranean flowering shrubs and herbs.
Coast/Beach
A 10 minutes stroll past the fields takes you to the beach of Mandria. It is a very quiet, unspoiled coast with a mixture of sandy areas and pebbles. The sea is very clean. The closest tourist beaches are about 10 minutes drive away.
Golf
There are 3 local golf courses. Secret Valley is 7 minutes drive. Set amongst natural rock formations it is a par 74 of 5,904m. Aphrodite Hills is next door. Built on two plateaux and separated by a ravine it it a par 71 course of 6,229m. Tsada is only 20 minutes drive, 15km north-east of Paphos and 55m above sea level. This par 72 course enjoys cool breezes over its 6,060m course. Course maps are available to download from our website (see below).
Skiing
During certain times of the year in Cyprus, it is possible to be skiing in the Troodos mountains in the morning and water-skiing off the beach in the afternoon. The Troodos ski resort is about 45 minutes drive.
Travel
Paphos airport is about 5 minutes drive. Mandria is the first village east of the airport. Car hire is recommended when you stay at Villa Miya but taxis are always available. Car rental companies will meet you or leave the cars for your collection at the airport if you wish.
Distances
Mandria village square is about a 10 minute walk, Paphos about 10-15 minute drive.
Further details
Mandria village has two general stores, two tavernas, a bank and a bakery, all adjacent to the village square. Paphos has a wide selection of tavernas, restaurants, bars, fast-food outlets and shops to cater for most needs. There are also an abundance of historical sites throughout the area. ‘Villa Miya is a beautiful place to spend your holiday, lovely pool cleaned twice weekly, spotless rooms throughout, all with air con, and every facilities for cooking, washing, etc that you would ever require, if you want to use them. it is tucked away at the end of a little village, but close enough to the main roads to get to Paphos in one direction and Larnaca in the other, and only 5 mins from the airport. I had nothing but help from the 2 owners, and lots of advice whenever I asked them’ 09/07/2007
