The Mountain Retreat offers luxury self-catering accommodation in a highly appointed, converted mill dating back to the 18th century. The accommodation is divided into 3 individual properties which sleeps a total of 8 guests. All 3 properties benefit from well facilitated, contemporary kitchens and elegantly furnished living areas. The use of a private pool, BBQ cooking facilities and spacious outdoor dining area. The Mill was discovered by its current owners who the completed the arduous task of lovingly restoring and refurbishing it in 2006 after it lay redundant for many years. Nestled up high in the 5 finger mountain range, the Retreat has uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding National Trust Land and the Mediterranean coastline. The unique location of the Retreat, makes it ideal accommodation for those who require a holiday with a difference. The Mountain Retreat has a fully automatic generator which runs all facilities as a backup to the powercuts.

31 April 2008 at £350 per calendar month. 2 month's
rent in advance (one month holding deposit). Excluding
electricity, water and gas.

The Serene Studio (Studio Apartment, Sleeps 2)

The Serene Studio which faces the swimming pool sleeps 2 people. It has a well facilitated contemporary kitchen with well equipped cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dining area. The lounge area has satellite TV. The Serene Studio overlooks the courtyard from its own private balcony and also has amazing views of the surrounding mountain range and coastline. Fully automatic generator that runs all facilities. |

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms are fully air conditioned. The Mountain Retreat does not accept guests under the age of 10. Airport transfers can be arranged, car hire also available as well as various historical excursions throughout the Island. Hire of a chef to cater for special functions can be arranged. Internet access is available. Fully automatic generator that runs all facilities.
Outside
The Mountain Retreat has beautiful secluded well maintained gardens and large private swimming pool with ample sunbathing facilities and outdoor shower and WC facilities. A large Ottoman style shaded dining and BBQ area with views of both mountains and coastline.
Coast/Beach
The Mountain Retreat is only a 5 min drive to unspoilt Mediterranean coastline. The village of Alsancak has 3 of the best beaches on the North Coast of Cyprus, Escape, Camelot and Mare Monte.

Travel
You have a choice of three airports of which to fly to. Ercan in the North of the island or Larnaca and Paphos in the South of the Island. Ercan is a 40 minute drive. Larnaca and Paphos are approx 1 hour and 15 mins drive. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged before arrival.
Distances
Alsancak is 10 mins drive to Kyrenia which is the nearest town and is often described as the ‘Jewel of Cyprus’. There are various historic places of interest throughout the island including Salamis ruins, Kyrenia Castle and Harbour, Bellapais Abbey, Saint Hilarion Castle as well as the untouched terrain of the Karpaz.
Further details
Alsancak is a 10 mins drive to Kyrenia which is the nearest town only a short distance away. In the village itself there are many local shops, that cater for all your needs. A bank is only a few miles away with a cash point machine, taking all major cards.

arrival.
