Surrounded by fields and groves of olive, orange and lemon trees, Lemon Grove is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Polis in the unspoilt Chrysochou area of Cyprus. A delightful low-density development, it has a lovely open character with rural views in all directions, including east to the mountainous Paphos Forest and west to the Akamas hills. With just 2 or 4 apartments in a block, each apartment has its own outside entrance: (no echoing stairwells or bleak corridors). Lemon Grove is the perfect spot for a relaxing romantic escape: stroll along uncrowded beaches, explore the unspoilt Akamas trails, delight in the views from Cape Arnaoutis and unwind in the friendly tavernas. It’s no surprise to discover that Chrysochou means “The Golden Land".

A generous two-bedroom apartment with its own outside entrance up one flight of stairs. Very quiet as it has no-one above and it shares no walls with neighbours. Windows on three sides give it a lovely light and airy character. The large lounge and dining area has a covered veranda at one end and a balcony at the other, providing shade or sun as needed all through the day and glorious views in all directions.

Fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine. Hair drier in each bedroom. Steam iron and ironing board. The additional beds are a sofa bed in the lounge and a folding put-you-up bed on castors that has its own storage cupboard. The air-conditioning units also provide heating in winter.

A delightful one-bedroom apartment with its own outside entrance up one flight of stairs. Very quiet as it has no-one above and it shares just a part of one wall with the neighbouring apartment. Windows on three sides give it a lovely light and airy character. The covered veranda looks over the pool area with rural views beyond thanks to the low-density, low-rise design of Lemon Grove. To the rear, the large bedroom window looks over olive trees and fields.

Fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine. Hair drier in the bedroom. Steam iron and ironing board. Two sofa beds in the lounge. The air-conditioning units also provide heating in winter.

Outside
There is a communal swimming pool. The 1-bedroom apartment overlooks the pool whilst the 2-bedroom apartment is about 50 metres away from it.

Coast/Beach
The beach is a pleasant 1,400 metre walk meandering along the farm tracks. Numerous other uncrowded beaches are a few minutes drive away in either direction along Chrysochou Bay.

Travel
Paphos Airport: 45 minutes drive
Laranaca Airport: 130 minutes drive
The amenities within walking distance mean that a car is not essential but we would recommend hiring one for at least part of your stay to explore the scenic and historical surroundings.

Distances
Near the sea, Lemon Grove has a peaceful rural character surrounded by fields and groves of olive, orange and lemon trees, and yet is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Polis, (under 1000 metres with nearer shops and tavernas along the way).

Further details
Ideal for walking and hiking: Paphos Forest on the flanks of the Troodos Mountains lies to the east and the hills of the unspoilt Akamas, (shortly to become Cyprus’s first national park), lie to the west.

Booking notes
The Booking Deposit is £100, (non-refundable), unless you are booking within 8 weeks of your stay, in which case you need to pay the full amount. Payment in UK Pounds.

The Breakages/Excessive Cleaning Deposit is £100, (refundable).
