Air conditioning to all bedrooms and living room. All bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and bedside table/s and attractive ceiling fans/lights to provide a gentle flow of refreshing cooling air. Bathroom - very attractive corner bath. Separate large shower enclosure. Vanity unit with spotlighting. WC which includes bidet. Large living room with two 3 seater settees and 2 armchairs, feature fireplace, large rug and plentiful wrought iron coffee tables. Well fitted kitchen with dining area – 6 seater glass and wood topped wrought iron table and 6 chairs with cushions. Bookcase with good selection of books.

Outside
Large private overflow swimming pool, surrounded by paved terrace. There are ample sun loungers around the pool, with welcome shade provided by some of the many mature almond trees, which give their name to the property. Large parasol and base. Patio table and 6 chairs. Very unusual fixed barbecue. Shaded terraces front (from which to see the sunrise) and rear (from which to see the sunset whilst enjoying a ‘sundowner’ relaxing by the pool). On the upper level, there is a large L-shaped terrace with tables and chairs – particularly appreciated on a balmy summer evening viewing the masses of stars visible in the night sky. The large garden is completely enclosed by walls with gates to the drive and path to the front door. There are lovely views of the mountains and of the sea. Ample parking on drive or in the garage.

Coast/Beach
Located in a quiet residential area, yet close to all amenities. There are lots of beaches nearby, including the Escape Beach Club which is well worth a visit. There are many restaurants and bars only a short drive away, including traditional as well as Chinese and Indian. Located close to Kyrenia with its charming and tiny harbour, full of yachts and fishing boats, and framed by the colossal hulk of its Crusader castle. With the backdrop of the jagged mountains behind.

Travel
Ercan is the closest airport but it is also possible to fly into Larnaca in the south. Car rental and transfer can be arranged on request. Transfer time from Ercan is approximately 30 minutes and from Larnaca, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Distances
The nearest restaurant is only a few minutes walk away and Alsancak village, with its modern supermarket and petrol station, is about 2 minutes drive or a short walk, and the coast is only a few minutes away. Kyrenia town is about 15 minutes drive.

Known locally as “Girne”, Kyrenia is situated on the north coast of Cyprus and, with its 6,000 year long history, unique remains of countless civilisations, miles of natural beaches, calm sea, and mild climate is an idyllic Mediterranean town. Experience the atmosphere at night, enjoying a very reasonably priced meal at one of its many and varied harbourside restaurants.

Booking notes
A 25% deposit is payable on booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure. Cancellation - up to 8 weeks - forfeiture of deposit, 42 days - 60% of full amount, 28 days or less - 100%. An additional deposit of £100 is required to cover the cost of any breakages/excess cleaning, but this is usually refunded when the keys are returned.
