Close to Larnaca town, promenade and Phinikoudes Blue Flag beach also local beach and McKenzie Blue Flag beach only 5/10 minutes walk. The apartments are very comfortably furnished for a relaxing holiday with air-conditioning/heating. Conveniently situated within easy walking distance of small local shops, tavernas, fishing harbour, town promenade and large town beach. Larnaca does have 5 sandy beaches over a distance of approximately one and a quarter miles. As all beaches and amenities are within strolling distance there is no need for a car unless travelling further afield.

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning/heating to all bedrooms for all year round use. Also a large standing fan in the living room and some bedrooms have desk fans. Good quality appliances in kitchens with all the cutlery, crockery and utensils. All bed linen and towels supplied. Guests are requested to take their own beach towels. Ideal for families wanting 2 separate apartments in the same building with the 4 bedroom being on the 3rd floor and the 2 bedroom immediately above on the 4th floor. There is a lift and stairs to all floors. High chair and cot available on request.
Both apartments are strictly non smoking.

Outside
There is a shared swimming pool for use during the Summer season (approximately May to October). Covered car parking space for each apartment.

Coast/Beach
Only 3/5 minutes walk to local sandy Blue Flag beach of Kastella (next to fishing harbour) with safe bathing and approximately 7/10 minutes walk to Larnaca town, Phinikoudes Blue Flag beach and promenade. Also the Blue Flag beach of McKenzie with safe swimming is within approximately 7/10 minutes walk. Next to this beach are local tavernas, toilets and some water sports.

Golf
The famous Aprodites Hills 18 hole Golf Course and Secret Valley 9 hole Golf Course both within 1 hours drive via the motorway.

Skiing
Most years from mid December to the end of February there is skiing off the Troodos Mountain range. Ski schools and equipment hire is available. The Cypriot climate allows for skiing on the mountains and on the same day enjoy a much warmer climate on the coast.

Travel
Larnaca Airport is within a 10 minute drive. A car is not essential as the apartments are very conveniently situated within walking distance of beaches, tavernas and local shops, town and promenade. For those wanting to explore further afield car hire is available locally or at the Airport from many companies.

Distances
Larnaca town is about 7/10 minute walk and there is a local bus service along the sea front from the town to Mackenzie. Nicosia the capital is about 30 minute drive. Limassol 30 minutes drive, Ayia Napa with its water park and Protaras is approx. 45 minutes drive. The Troodos mountains are well worth visiting and about 1 hours drive.

Further details
Close to local supermarket for every day needs, excellent fish tavernas, restaurants and kebab house. A dive centre is about 300/400 yards. Fishing and boat trips are available from the Marina and also submarine trips to the local wreck during the summer season. Larnaca's Salt Lake is near by, home to migrating flamingos in the Spring. St Lazaros church and the Old Fort are about 7/10 minutes walk with museums located in the town. Larnaca town has banks, a traditional covered market open 6 days a week, plenty of fashion and shoe shops, cafes, restaurants, opticians, tourist shops and a Saturday market where locals sell their produce. Larnaca has a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees, flower beds and pavement cafes. There are taxis stationed along the promenade. On the outskirts of Larnaca there are at least 4 large supermarkets, well worth a visit. Just outside Larnaca there is a camel park at Mazatos. Ayia Napa has its famous water park.

Booking notes
A non-returnable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure the booking, with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. If your arrival date is within 8 weeks of the date of booking, full payment is required. You must obtain your own travel insurance to cover for flight delays/cancellations and medial insurance as the owner does not accept any responsibility for these items.

Guest comments
Excellent accommodation for the whole family within close walking distance to all amenities. The locals are very friendly and most helpful.

Very spacious accommodation with everything you need.

Accommodation is just like walking into someones home.
